Added the spring to eye up to the head and and started making the neck/spine so it not just a bolt you can see. Finished clearing out the top teeth.
Will hopefully find a few more parts for the spine and I'm one with making the lighting circuit. That big hole in his head will need filling once the lights are in place.

Agreed!!
Cheers, that is the plan even if I get it all built and the lights fitted and painted him after Halloween, I would be happy.
I can remember the rules on posting TY links, but I did a short video as I'm not sure I want to do much more with the main skull as I want to try my hand at some freehand painting tattoo-type decals. , I do need to do more with the right eye, need to add in some wires etc and he needs a spine of some sort to go over the threaded bar.

Nice looking kit from a fantastic film. Are you going with the film colours or mixing up a bit?

I have wanted to make one of these for ages and so as it coming up to Halloween and the skulls are in the shops again I picked this one up from Home Bargains, it was a pit thinker plastic than most of the other some my hope it it will take a lot more cutting apart.
I have made a start on and cutt a hole out of the back and fitted a bloody massive metal rod to hold the thing up as i work on it, a bit of forward planning for a change, also cutting out the teeth as they are like a bad set of dentures at the moment. First proper part is the antenna, a metal yo-yo, plastic lid, a section of a gundam stand, a section of a Strike Gundam gun and some other plastic foot ( I think it was from kitchen cabinet)

If Mara Jade ever popped in Bad Batch for a camio she might look something like the.
Slightly altered from the original kit of Kaiyodo Galactic Lady Legend Yuna Ria, some sort of 90's game character and added the extra webbing using green stuff, a mix of airbrush and stick to paint this one.
Comments welcome.
Cheers Brian.
She is now sitting in the posh shed ( summer house) the first kit to make it in ther with out to much complaining from the wife....

Had a good bit of time tonight and have just about finished this, decided to keep the base simple and use a rock from the beach. Still to glue the head and backpack but has gloss coated it all and now need to decide if I want to flat any of it?

Just seen and caught up
Cheers.
Getting on with it now and just about finished the body. Not happy with my main fixing on the foot so I'm going to have to get that sorted and the base.
The gundam 1/100 scale beam saber arrived and I had to heavily chop that down to fit. Cut 4mm off the length of the handle and filed down a bit as well.
