  1. Tied a few decals and have gone with this subtle one.
  2. The black is just the base colour, I will be going over it to get a faded blue grey with lots of chipping and weathering. With a bitnof luck...
  3. Covered this in primer now and trying out this cheep can of spray from B&M, it not very matt but a nice satin finish once dry. Only £4 a can.
  4. Resin, and all painted with tamyia lacquers. A generally mucky filthy stinky process from start to finish.
  5. Cheers for the interest. A few more bit painted now, painted the cuffs on the hoodie to brake up the orange A bit more and have almost finished the face. Not as dark as I intended but happy with my airbrushing on it. She doesn't look as pink in real life She doesn't look as pink in real lifeas the first picture or as dark as the second picture. My camera is have a hard time taking a decent picture.
  6. Sn orange slightly mucky looking hoody. I think it needs some art work on the back but might have to go with a decal.
  7. Bonus time in the man cave and I put it to good use. Got the base painted and weathered, just want to add some grout with a pen next, shaded the main body ready for a orange hoodie. Based coated the skin in an olive skin tone. Pushing my luck with the skin tone but want to try a more Mediterranean skin tone this time.
  8. A few more small parts painted, headphones trainers, I'm going with the grubby grung look.
  9. Really like what you have done to him.
  10. I have and it looks stunning, apart from the massive radiator and oversize header but still one of the reasons I haven't rushed on the RE. My last new bike was an XT660 so the single doesn't bother me to much, if they get balance and frame right.
  11. That is a fantastic model Lee but the real thing is absolutely gorgeous! Giving some serious thought to throwing my leg over a Royal Enfield 650, most of the looks of a old/retro bike with modern engineering.
  12. No need to be PC here, I cannot stand the young girl...I know shocking isn't but that's all politics and my views on how governments force us to rectify there cockups, carbon neutral electric car are the biggest BS rip-offs, in forever .... oddball is most of my builds so thank you..
  13. Cheers Andy Thanks Pete, I think it a bit different, the only thing I don't really like is the cigarette for some reason Dame right! Get her into Gundam breaker, then the anime and then the models.......
  14. Hi Tim, Thanks for the tip on the TV, just had a look and its very cool. Have a great Christmas and I will catch you in the new year.
  15. Not much done this week just the controller and Mcd's milkshake in the cup cooler.
  16. Have found a bit of 4x2 I'm going to as the base and the possibility of a scratch built TV on a tall stand. The pedestal is an old kids toy with flashing LEDs that might make a nice flickering TV screen effect.
  17. I will have to make the cigarette a camberwell carrot......
  18. Made a start on the chair, based with yellow, then red with a bit of dark shading, I then went over with a clare red to deepen the colour. Still need to add lots ware and tear and pick out some of the details.
  19. This is how the pros at Sideshow paint this kit.
  20. Started another project when I have to many on the go already. Trying my hand at another large figure, not done much more than sanding an dry fitted and some pinning at the moment.
  21. And from the bag of 3d cast off and misprints I have managed to put these to together. The girl is made from two figures and she now has 2 right legs and 2 right sides to her bow. The man was really just missing a sword, so I have made one from a sheet of plastic card. I was so happy with then I decided to make a little base for them both to stand on. Just measured then at just under 40mm if anyone is interested. A few WIP photos.
