That is a very nicely built and painted U-wing and I like the clean display, let you eye focus on a great model.

Thanks, im with you on the Neo Zeon decal. Here is all i have for now, no weathering as such just used washes on the engine and cannon internals and then the shading on the red. Some of the joins are not great but i have learnt so much from doing this i dont mind. I am thinking i should have put a bit of white on the wings? You can not see but the tip of the cannon is white.

Thank you. The eye was a pain to get right but im glad i did, giving some serous consideration to making another but in the standard red white and black colours. I would stump up the cash for the MG but i just can not see £70-80 in them.

Thanks Pete very nice of you to say so. I see what you mean about the coffin as well and as for the comp there are a lot of much better builder than me entering and at least one i know of thats a pro.

Cheers, finished it now just need to sort out the display stand for it, looks much better now its all matt as well. Pictures later.

That lot are looking very nice, the two tones of red are great.

Once this is finished i will only have 2 thing on the WIP shelf. Time to start an other scratch/kit bash project i think. Im thinking a 1/35 scale Zaku bust or a Mars Hopper ball like Randy Coopers, both well out of my skill set but thats what YT is for.

I had a few evil dry transfer things, i hate using then but for this build they will do so just put these two on for now. The yellow one is just a bit of centre which is a bit annoying but i can not move it now so it will have to stay like that. The lighter red under the shell will get a coat or 3 of smoke to darken it as well.

Added some more red and had anothet go at the funky engine burn, its not great but it will do. Im still undecided if i want to put any decals on it, may be a big gold neo zeon symbol on the back might be ok?

Yellow and a gray sponged over seems to have done the trick. Matt or gloss the name plate?

Looks like a very nice kit compared to the recasts. Good luck with this one. Looks like Photobucket has made a lot of enemies with their new T&C`s, all my threads are black as well now. moving over to flickr for the moment as most of my updates are done via my phone and the flickr app works very well.

So all my photos are blacked by photobucket as they are holding them to ransom, they want me to stump up $400 every year so they can get f.......d. I have moved over to flickr for now. Making a start on paint this and after much indecision im going with a much simpler paint job, as an MA should be all red with a grey frame. Arm's and outer shell done and i need to do more of the inner parts now.

And a Flickr account, flickr has a great app so i think im going to stick with that for now.
