  1. The tires I used here are slightly bigger than the ones provided in this kit but in my opinion, these look more correct.
  2. Had a lot of fun with this one fellas! Paint is MCW Finishes Lacquer Acapulco Blue, not a color used in that year for this car but it certainly looks the part. Clear is 2K by Splash Colors. Just added a few small details on the engine and interior but this is basically a box stock build. Tires were taken from the Revell Boss 302 kit, I hate putting decals on tires so that is a good route to go on if you want to avoid that. Kudos to Revell for this finely engineered kit, it is highly recommended!

  6. Built for an article in Model Cars Magazine. Paint is Scalefinishes Grabber Orange with Testors Wet Look Clear. Plumbed and wired engine and a few other little extras. 8. Thanks guys. I always scribe the lines deeper on the bare plastic where I will be placing the Bare Metal Foil. Just makes it easier to follow once you add all the primer, paint and clear on the body.

  11. Of course the spray can paints are good for this. Make sure to stick with the hobby paints and once you master them then you can opt for the various other paints.
  12. This one was completed about 4 years ago. Paint is Tamiya Pure White with no clear. Engine was plumbed and wired. Used different tires, the ones supplied in the kit did not look so good. Added some other small items to make it look more interesting. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  13. Completed this one a few years back. Don't remember what was the color of the body but it was from Dupli-Color. Top is Tamiya Pearl White. White walls are resin from Modelhaus and rims were sourced from another kit.
