  5. project ended....☹️ the plastic didn´t respond well to neither Revell, Faller or Tamiya plastic glue when some pieces broke off several times and my dad glued them on again, the pins melted away and other problems have the newer ARII kit version in the stash, maybe someday in the future and hopefull the plastic is better responding... nevertheless, thanks for following this project and on to the next...

  7. Found out, that almost all post war Ratas, at least the ones used in the 40ies and 50ies were puzzled together with parts of old, no longer airworthy aircraft and had also their own Spanish produced canopies which looked slightly different. They also had a taller spine and longer ailerons. So can´t do that scheme oob with the Eduard kit without duing some extra work. Therefore my dad decided to do a Chinese scheme using British made Blue RIder decals which are in our decal stash for some while now. DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
  8. almost done all in all it isn´t a bad kit but as usual with HB kits, it isn´t 100% correct, for example they forgot about the sensor on the forward wingtip areas, should my dad or I build another C model, we will choose the Academy kit, looks like the most correct kit compared with Italeri and HB DSC_0001 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
  9. After building already one kit out of this dual combo some years ago, it´s time to do the second. DSC_0011 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0012 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0013 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0014 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr

  12. So, it´s that time of year again. Wish you nice holidays and all the best for 2024! 🌲🎅🍾 It was a pleasure to see all your great work here, keep going! The old man did good this year with 28 finished models...and the middle-aged man tried his best to take appropriate pictures of them and post them for you. All in 1/48 except the race car in 1/24. Cheers from Austria! 15. Since it´s a longer time my dad built a Russian subject, he decided to start the new Clear Prop early Rata kit i bought him this year for his birthday.
