  1. Wow, what a beautiful paintjob! Looks stunning, and very nicely weathered too. Looks like a cheap Japanese Jag thou!! Looks like you've put alot of effort into that and been well rewarded, nice one Eng
  2. Looks lovely mate!! Nice decals and the paintjob looks pretty good as well. How did you find the kit to build? I've got one in the stash for another day! Nice Kitty! Eng
  3. Wicked pic!! Lovin that idea... Eng
  4. Hi Jesse, I've got decals from F-Dcal - http://www.f-dcal.net/pages/laser/14068.html They do stacks of airliner stuff and are great decals, well worth a look. The guy's that run the company are very helpful and will answer any questions via email. Should be able to get some pic's if reqd but as mentioned earlier, we don't see the 321's anywhere near as often as the 319/320's as there's far fewer in the fleet. I'm very (very!!) slowly working to do a 319, 320 and 321 all in BA livery as above. The 320 and 321 using F-Dcal sheets and the 319 straight from the Revell kit, which has an awesome decal sheet if you haven't seen it already. Drop me a PM anytime if you need any Airbus or 737 info/pic's Rgds, Eng
  5. Watching with interest Al, had one of these when I was about 10 and remember it being bloody huge! Looking very nice so far. Rgds, Eng
  6. Great stuff Tom thank's for posting the extra images - well worth it! Eng
  7. That's a wee cracker, what a beautiful, flawless finish. Superb! Eng
  8. Beautiful builds Darius, really struggling to pick a favourite! Love the Bucc's, the Wessex, and the Scimitar and Flycatcher are just stunning. Nice one, Eng
  9. Good info Spike/Pete thank's, Oh and ref.... Just keep your weap's away from Glasgow and Edinburgh there's BritModellers holed up in there!!!!! LOL, Eng
  10. Never noticed this Dave! And was just about to point out the typo on the instruction sheet re. the "9 Sqn" gaff, but been beaten to it. Not wanting to take anything away from Dave, but I'd also happily part with my Canadian and Aussie markings (less the "ROYAL AIR FORCE" text) if anyone want's them. Eng
  11. First impressions? I'm really keen on the C-17 but not yet sold on the idea of the Revell kit, I have got the Xtradecal RAF markings thou - just in case! If you're planning a RAF version then these decals are beautiful. Eng
  12. Lovely Jesse, very tidy build. Although working for a rival UK airline I have to admit to really liking this scheme of Brit Midlands. The figure certainly makes you realise how big this aircraft is. I happened to be working on G-EUXJ today and we haven't had a 321 in the hangar for a while, it was when we pushed it out for runs that it hit home as to how much bigger than the 319 it really is. And it's along walk through the cabin!! Once again a fantastic build and a beautiful finish, whose decals did you use? Rgds, Eng
  13. OMG, the first Tonka pic is for me the best Tonka pic I've seen yet, and both "Goldstars" pic's are a close second - just.... To echo whats already been said the E-3 shots are both unbelieveable. I've been an admirer of your pic's here for a long time but these raise the bar a considerable amount, PLEASE post some more Tom. As an ex-resident of the NE of Scotland I have a particular fondness for Lossie and Kinloss stuff. Excellent work, BRgds, Eng
  14. OK Spence, that was 27th Nov at 08:36 when you last posted, you've had nearly 18 hours, where's the next update!!! Seriously, I have 2 of the 72nd kits languishing in the loft and after seeing how much nicer this looks, they might just be staying there. How big is the 48 scale offering? Looks bloody nice will be watching closely Eng
  15. Some F.3 detail pic's of the ex-56 Sqn machine that is in the Museum of Flight at East Fortune, near Edinburgh. Eng. Hope some of these might be of use and apologies for those that haven't been rotated (DOH!!!) Eng
  16. Might have to have a wee go at this as well, probably a 1/72 Revell F.3 OoB with aftermarket decals, I'm thinking 43 or 56 Sqn maybe. Eng
  17. Very nice clean build there - beautiful scheme! How big is the Minicraft Herc i.e length and span? Cheers and nice job, Eng
  18. If you can hang on til tomorrow (Tue) I've got 43 pic's I took last week of the former 56 Sqn F.3 thats now in the Museum of Flight at East Fortune, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, and I'd planned on posting these here but haven't had time yet. There's atleast 3 or 4 detail pics of the probe in the extended position. Rgds Eng I'll post them in the F.3 walkround thread already mentioned in a previous post.
  19. Flippin 'eck Al!! I've been following your build but,... damn that is wicked, it just looks awesome in the side on pic, what a monster of a jet. You certainly should be proud of that one, the NMF is stunning, absolutely 1st class and worth all the trouble I bet. Shweeet!!! Eng
  20. Nice job! Love the Lightning in this colour scheme and you've done it justice in spades! Eng PS I wish some one would let me have to weeks off AND then have nothing to do except modelling - NICE ONE!!
  21. Hey I've got a Vauxhall Astra and my "cockpit" IS wide enough, the instrument panel IS fine and I've never had an issue with my tailplane anhedral!!! Eng
  22. As I commented earlier, she looks awesome, and from the pic's the decals look pretty good actually. What if any surface prep do you need to do when putting decals onto Alclad finishes? Is it smooth enough for them to go straight on or did you apply a coat of Klear? Do the edges of the carrier film stand out much? Sorry for all the questions, just something I've never given any thought. I'm sure by the time she's done you'll be chuffed to bit's with the finished article, brilliant piece of work Al. Rgds Eng
  23. Drop Desmojen a PM, she's our resident expert on these babies and might be able to help you out. Rgds Eng
  24. Brilliant Oz, anything in Gloss black looks good and I do like the Squirrel in this scheme, can't wait to see it complete! Eng
  25. eng

    Revell C-17

Don't even tempt me, I've got an Italeri C-130H and a nice 72nd C-17 would look great along side it!!! Eng
