    Can someone confirm this? If that’s the only tiny blemish, it’s hardly worth mentioning, but just included here for further discussion and accuracy’s sake.

    Yes, indeed, we made a mistake.😞
    For the silver version there is not enough roundels without a white border... 🙄

    If you read carefully, on the second page it said that there were errors in the original 3D model and a new model was created.
    Simply put, the fuselage was completely wrong. So we went back to the beginning of the design and made a new model.
    You give as an example a render of an early version, with airbrakes. We decided that it would not be practical to make them for a 72 scale model; there are some limitations due to technology.
    I think in the future, we will still make them for 1/48 scale.

    I'm waiting (more or less) patiently for Dora Wing's 'C' model Thunderbolt -- With the intent of doing one of Zemke's other mounts.

     

     

    Yes, marking from the decal set for the model.
    Not as an advertisement: very good fit of parts. 😎
    Version "C" should be released in the fall, if nothing interferes.

    This is a great edition! Very detailed, lots of photographs and color illustrations.

    The model was made using this book.
