  1. These amazing builds are the result of a slow year????????? Hangs head in shame and exits stage left..........
  2. Very nice indeed with, in my opinion, weathering that looks just right
  3. Not my thing as far too fiddly but a stunning result. Hats off to anyone with the patience to rig bi planes
  4. Very nice, looking forward to seeing the last of the trio
  5. Gotta luv a well made Hog, very nice indeed. As for the photos, can't see any issues there my friend
  6. Very nice indeed, personally I can never see enough Phantoms, particularly when they look this good
  7. Good skills on a very different subject
  8. What can I say but a huge thankyou. That link is simply amazing!
  9. That's good enough for me, thanks for the info Ant
  10. In my opinion you understand correct. I've made the A model and have the D in the stash. I've never seen engineering quite like it. Little pricey but seriously worth it
  11. Good afternoon......I seek help with the @###*@*@ Airfix Bucc in 1/48! As is well known this is not the easiest kit out there (esp straight after a Tamiya Tomcat!). I've almost finished making the beast but have now at the slipper tank stage. My question is this, does it always need the b****y things???? I ask as they come in three parts designed by Lucifer herself. I am arming the beast with the included Sea Eagle. Did it ever fly without tanks? Any info will be gratefully received, especially if it's to say that they didn't.
  12. Looks very good indeed, shame there isn't one in 1/48 as would look great next to my F22
  13. A Tamiya Fin????? Oh yes please! As for the excuses, give them up and go indulge yourself. Rest assured you will not be dissapointed
  14. Lovely result! Can't agree more with your comment, never enough Phantoms
  15. Sorry but an excuse for a pint??? Never needed one
  16. Very nice result if not the right service ( ducks as all the ex RN on here throws insults!) It's even better as I have first hand experience with this kit. I'm struggling my way through at the moment. Have finally sanded and filled to an acceptable standard, time for paint finally. So hats off to you and your moddelling skills 👌
  17. A change on a theme, I'm part way through an Airfix 1/48 Bucc (enough said!) and I had all the right holes in place then used so much bl***y fller trying to get the wings looking half right that all the holes have been filled in! Didn't notice until after the undercoat had been sprayed on! No trace of those damn holes!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? (insert suitable unprintable words here)
  18. Can't believe this but I may have a small gripe with this kit (hangs head in shame) Please Tamiya et al, can we please have a standard option re the decals please. I do enjoy the odd Cag bird but, for me at least, I much prefer a tatty line airframe. Yes, I am aware that this i simply me being picky, but out of four options just one could be a 'plain jane'. Rant over, back to my nemisis, an Airfix Bucc in 1/48. DO NOT GET ME STARTED 😭
  19. Some great looking models to celebrate a day I remember very well. My highlight being the Bearcat sneaking up behind my family (who were standing on chairs for a better view) and scaring the hell out of my mum!?! A fantastic show on what is now just another housing estate. Thanks for posting and reminding me of a great day out
  20. Success! Slight problem though, the box is bigger than the A model. Need to re-arrange a little to make it look as though it's been in my stash a while. If my Mrs ever craks my password to BM I'll be under the patio before I know what's happening!?! 😨
  21. Kids and Mrs back to school today!!!!!! Credit card primed and ready, trip to lms this morning, F14D home by lunch time! Finally 😈
  22. Looks good to me and wouldn't have noticed the stencils if you hadn't have mentioned them. Good result
  23. Very nice, I do like a Tonka, no matter what the guise. Great work
  24. Looks great in RAF colours, shame we always seem to buy American when there is lots on offer out there (oooh politics, duck and cover people!)
