  1. The Academy P-51D built in Chinese markings. A friend wants to put on a 1:72 P-51 display at a model show later this year, so wanted to build out his display, so this one was out sourced to me. A quick and simple build. Overall SMS PMT09 Aluminium. Used some decals from the spares file. Build progress video
  2. For the 9.12 the main differences I am aware of are, the 9.12 early had a narrow rudder, no flare launchers in front of the vertical tails and a different mud guard on nose wheel. as for early/late 9.13 I am not sure.
  3. Interesting what if. Firstly the Czechs never operated the MiG-27. Secondly you have gotten confused between the MiG-23BN and MiG-27. They resemble each other in basic shape, but are quite different.
  4. The latest boxing of ICM's 1:72 MiG-29 9.13 Fulcrum C. This is the Radar Hunter boxing. Building wise, no problems with the kit. Underside colour is SMS PL93 blue grey and base colour on upper side is SMS PL104 grey white. My problems started when it came to the decals. The shape of them meant they were difficult to position and while moving them, smaller sections broke off and maybe the biggest one should have been divided up into sections to make it easier. Got most of them on in the end, so it sort of looks like a digital cam MiG-29. Build progress video
  5. Have all those mentioned kits as well, but have no plans to get rid of them since there’s a new Su-25 coming. Will get the new Clear Prop one when it comes out.
  6. Dennis_C, it's one of the Afghan war lords from the early 1990s.
  7. Nicely built. Got a few of those kits in the stash. I reckon I’ve seen those decals on a Lift Here sheet.
  8. Nicely built. I have built that kit and you are right, not a great fit, but nothing filler and sanding can’t fix.
  9. Nice build. Quite a fan of the Dash8, I’ve flown on a few over the years, -100, -300 & -400. Quite a few operating here in Australia, even the oldest operating one c/n 004.
  10. Nicely built. good job on the camo using Tamiya tape.
  11. The 1:72 Eduard kit of the L-39C Albatros built in Ukrainian markings using Print Scale Decals. This is one of Eduard's earlier kits, so fit was a little bit tricky around the wing area. SMS PL93 blue grey on undersides, Topside colours SMS PL32 brown and SMS PL12 green. Yellow used is SMS PL162. Print Scale decals were generally ok to use, but some did start to fold over on themselves. Build progress video
