I had the same problem with ford logo & cosworth lettering, so I just painted over them with silver, then tidyed up round the edges of each letter an around the ford with black paint. Ive just finished the engine, with a little glue here & there, as most of the engine parts snapped together with no problems. Phil, do you plan on putting a driver in the seat? Im still looking for decals for the figure helmet & racesuit with no luck so far.

A truly inspiring build there. You have done some awesome work there, the rigging lines are class, a museum quality build. Nice one. BTW, how long is she? My 1:400 Titanic is 700mm long, your Bizmarck looks like she dwarf it. oooh, the old Miss, cant wait for that. Im pretty sure I saw a 1:350 Tirpitz in Hobbycraft Wolverhampton, sitting next to a 1:350 Bizmarck (which I intend to buy at one stage in the future) http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/tamyia-german-battleship-tirpitz-model-kit/573226-1000

Looking awesome there, nice work. Ive done the belkits ford fiesta kit & I put driver & co-driver figures in mine. -
Ive been looking at building one of these & most of the kits ive found are made of resin & they are quite expensive. Good luck to you.

Daymn, thats awesome. Always wanted to have a crack at a nascar, especially if I could get my hands on some "cole trickle" city chevrolet decals. -
Its an awesome result for Meeke, as it was only a couple of seasons ago he couldnt get a drive. What is also great about it, is the fact that citroen have given him the chance to showcase his talent. Also to finally see citroen get back on the winning step, as since Loeb left theyv'e had a torrid few seasons & the fact that Mikko Hirvonen only joined citroen under the moniker of "if you cant beat em, join em" Nice to see a non-ogier vw win, although Jarri-Matti Latvala has had a win this season. A nice tribute from Meeke to the legend that was Colin Mcrae.

Nice one Andy, just popped over there & the prices are really cheap. -
I have the Aoshima Airwolf, I bought it a couple of years ago & I managed to get it for £36 in total from Japan. Since then the prices have skyrocketed. The sheer detail on this kit is immense & there are so many small parts you would not believe, it comes with 2 figures (one for String & one for Dom), but I heavily advise putting a light inside for the rear command area (where Dom sits) as once put together you wont seem him unless you angle it at the sun or a light. Also if you plan on building Airwolf II, id advise on getting the old AMT or Kitech versions & building it to stock Bell 222 not Airwolf, as the Airwolf II was just a stock Bell 222, painted black & red. The paint I used to match the Dupont Phantom grey, was Revell's Aquacolor Anthracite 36109, which is pretty much bob-on. Originally I bought the old AMT kit & built it to Airwolf, but when I bought the Aoshima one, I re-painted the old one to Airwolf II, but I didnt take the sidepods or nose off. Here are a couple of pics, to show you what you'll get, if you manage to get one. Also check out the build on my Youtube channel, link is in my profile. The rear command centre, I made the mistake of laying the decals on top of the raised console detailing, luckily it stayed on, but you might want to sand down the raised details first. Command centre all done. The ADF Pod and belly detailing the AMT does not have, also a little further back you can see the rubber mounting for the landing gear should you wish to use it. I mixed some Night Blue with some silver to re-create the burnt effect of the exhausts. The side pods & guns, I filled in the pod covers on the inside before I mounted the guns. Using the remove-able landing gear struts, the lady on her landing gear. Aoshima Airwolf finished, on her stand, I printed the airwolf logo & laminated it to go on the stand. The Lady next to the old AMT, which id re-done as II.

Awesome work there, Im going to get one of these in the next couple of months. Tell me, what was the foliage you used for the base, it looks like you might have cannibalized your garden for it. I was thinking about popping to my local games workshop to see what they might have to dress up the base. -

I am the law, nice work there. -
My wife is a massive OFAH fan & shes asked me if I could get a hold of the Reliant Regal Supervan & the Ford Capri Ghia models kits & dress them up like the ones in the show. She has seen the corgi die-cast versions & she is not impressed with them. I have been searching for them on google & have found a couple of capri kits, which are very expensive as they are old & rare kits, but I have nothing when it comes to the reliant supervan. Also getting aftermarket "Trotters Independent Traders" decals is proving a bit of a problem too. Cheers in advance.

I have an Aoshima Airwolf (yes I know its not a auto model) But the detail they have gone to is incredible, but dont know about their car/bike kits. If they go to the same detail on their auto kits, they should be good.

Awesome work there. Sorry to be bringing back an old topic, but im about to start work on this model. Do any of you know of where I could get some racesuit & helmet decals for a figure to put in the driver seat? I have searched on google with no success & the only Nigel Mansell racesuit & helmet decals I could find are his Williams F1 ones, I have managed to recover a 1/18 figure from one of my old diecast f1 cars (which was really old & damaged) & im hoping with a little surgery could fit inside this model. I have found 1/20 driver seated figure but they cost as much as I paid for the indycar (£33) & the mansell f1 decals on top of that which could cost £11-£15. I have a printer, but I cant find the template & I have not got the confidence to print them off with good results. Cheers in advance.
