Malair, thanks for the appraisal. Frankly speaking, civil airliners are not my favorite topic, but Zvezda kits are realy good and sometime unique on the market.

Thank you for comments! It is a plesure.

Hi all! Let me show my resent work - the modern Russian civil aircraft Superjet SSJ-100 in 1/144 by Zvezda. This model has been built out of box with some small datails are from scretch. Decal is from REVARO (the quality is pretty good). Regards, Maxim Volkov (Volfmax)

Thanks, gentlemen, for the comments!

Hi, gentlemen, "Zvezda" has issued the most impressive model of the MiG-29 Fulcrum C in 1/72. It was powered by Aires resin (nozzles, cockpit) Eduard resin wheels, Part photoetched and Pavla canopy. And of course some details are from scretch. The main challenge is how to build in the Aires resin parts, which have been produced for the old Italery model. So, it is possible and for the Zvezda kit as well. With regards,

Hi, everybody. On my simple point of view, "Tupolev" - Tu-154 is the most sexy civil aircraft. I like it most of all. The model produced by "Zvezda" is cool. I just made from scratch some small parts. The decal is by "Ascencio" (it is also perfect). That's it.

Douglas A-26B "Stinky” - 1/72 Italery
Volfmax replied to Volfmax's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thanks for comments and interest to the model. It's very important to me. Each part of the fuselage was grinded down up to 1,7 mm. It demanded to correct all the interior parts (including Eduard etched parts), cut away the tail and make the canopy from scratch. So, a lot of work, as you can imaging. But now the Invader is close to its familiar view. -
Hi, guys, Let me introduce, my last Lady - A-26B Invader in 1/72 scale. The Italery model is worth to be correct in terms of the fuselage width. The width was cut up to 3.5 mm and the Lade get much more shapely as it should be. A lot of other details were corrected and added: - the interior, including the bomb bay and weel bay was developed a lot using BigEd photoetched and scratch built parts. - the lines was corrected (get more narrow) and added with foil in some places. - it was riverted. - diving rudders were cut off. - resin R-2800 egines by Vector were added by some scratch built parts, - gear and bomb bay doores are from scratch - landing gear are from scratch - painted by Alclad II and Gunze metallics. With best regards!

Noehl, thanks for the reply. Yor're right, Jonhnson got this Spit in the end of April 1943 just after it was repainted. Since February 1943 till late April 1943 the aircraft was flown by Ian Keltie and had the Popeye nose art. -

Thanks for all your comments, guys! It's a pleasure. The base is scratch built from cutting board, plastic plates, some structure paint by Wilder and natural material. The red things (I don't really know how to call them in English) on the rotor are from thing paper.
