  1. Beautiful build. Dracula would be proud!
  2. That's amazing! What is it like to build? Is it considered one of Airfix's better kits?
  3. Wonderful model. I think your poetic license with the Exocet makes it even more interesting.
  4. Nice combination of helos. Can I ask how do u get such a great finish by hand-brush painting?
  5. Those are beautiful Bucs. Do you know anything about a new tool Airfix Buc?
  6. Really impressive. Any tips on hand-brush painting large areas?I need to improve.
  7. i doubt a new Airfix Victor could look any better than yours. Lovely.
  8. I hope mine looks half as good! Lovely work.
  9. An amazing model by an amazing craftsman!
  10. Hello JJJ: Just discovered this conversation when beset with similar problems to yours. Did you ever find a satisfactory solution to spraying vallejo or did you just switch to Tamiya? Thanks.
  11. Thanks. Good to know. For domestic reasons I won't go into, I'm restricted to using acrylics, but will try to follow your techniques all the same. Best wishes.
  12. That's quite stunning. I've heard that dayglo can be a nightmare to apply, although you seem to have achieved a perfect finish. And how do you achieve the tonal variation in the metallic areas?
  13. Is anyone else having problems with the fit of the wings on the Airfix 1:48 Gnat? The top surface of the wings sits slightly proud of the surface where they join the air intakes at the front. Most of the build reviews I have read talk about a perfect fit all round, but this is not my experience. Any suggestions on how to improve the fit would be welcome.
