  1. Wow, great work. I'd never have the nerve for that much riveting
  2. Wow, what a model. An unusual plane choice only adds to it, bravo!
  3. Hi, i'd like an advice or your tips / tricks on how to mask complex curves on airliners bodies, see here below. How to make the masking tape horizontal and nicely elyptical? Many thanks for your tips!
  4. Wow, just beautiful. perfect model, great photos!
  5. Wow, beautiful work, congratulations! Very nice paint job!
  6. Thank you for good comments. They are encouraging and inspiring!
  7. After 15 years of absence I finally managed to finish a model. It is a nice Revel kit, made OOB. I used Vallejo paints which well on very well except gloss finish and that resulted in some decal silvering. I experimented with some new techniques and weathered the model with oil washes. Overall I'm happy with result and that is what our hobby is all about.
  8. I use the overal present computer keyboard cleaning foam (which is of a really ugly green colour) to clean the surface of a model before priming. Designed od desinfact the keyboards it also very thorougly pulls dirt and dust out of river holes and panel lines. Just roll it over the surface and it reaches very deeply into panel lines. The product I use is Swiss (of course made i China), called Cyber Clean (cyberclean.net) and it works great. However, don't forget to clean the surface after that with mildy soapy water before priming. Good luck!
