  1. Indeed he is! Perhaps the gunslinger from "Westworld" could be a future sculpt?!
  2. Great thread! It's amazing to watch the guy taking shape, keep at it!
  3. There was a joke going round at that time which went along the lines of "The Beeb had a £10 special effects budget that year...... £9 14shillings and 6 pence went on Dr Who,and they splurged the rest on Blakes 7........"
  4. Thank you, Sgt Squarehead, Laughed like a drain at that one!
  5. What Rob G said! Also,Polar Lights were teasing a Sulaco in (I think) 1:1000 scale some time back, but,I dont know what happened with that.
  6. Hi,Will,I remember you fretting that you wouldnt be able to finish this in time for the show- so glad you did! Lovely fun build :-)
  7. I am indebted to the BBC Dr Who webpage to give another answer to this- the actor Deep Roy played Mr Sin in The Talons of Wang Chiang Droopy McCool in ROTJ (although uncredited) And Scotty's alien assistant Keenser in the latest Trek incarnations. Not only, but also... He has been in Blakes Seven,Flash Gordon,X Files,Planet of the Apes, and many more!
  8. Ah,I see! Didnt realise that ITV had the rights to the whole shebang.Thanks.
  9. Would ITV have any say in something like this? I'm afraid I dont know the ins and outs of licensing and such!
  10. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeze Santa, I wants one! I've been very good this year!
  11. I'd not heard of it either, but, apparently the Interweb has! Heres a basic explaination from Tamiya http://tamiyabase.com/blog/painting/175-rust-and-fading-paint-the-hairspray-method.html
  12. There are freebies available, for personal use- http://www.starshipmodeler.com/tech/as_nx01.htm
