  1. I've read Bucanners have toilet roll bombed places before....lol
  2. Nice build, looks great.. I'm trying to get mojo to finish my single seat Dutch zipper at the moment..
  3. Been out of the loop for a while, glad some finally produced some 615 Sqn decals with a little serial chopping you can make VZ467. Did this airframe have any anomalies from a standard F8?. What was the common parked position of the control surfaces and airbrakes.
  4. Looking good, i like the 2 seat Super bugs more than the singles... I notised yesterday on a model review channel, Hobby Boss have just released a single seat E Super Hornet. Loads of choices now..
  5. Flaps slats can only be deployed with wings fully forwards.. A limit switch prevents wing sweep when deployed. I've heard of a story of an RAF jet in maintenance that had this feature by pasted for rig testing and between shifts this information was not passed on and the wings were moved aft and the flaps inpacted the fuselarge sides!!
  6. Its the RAF baggage pod, was used on Harriers and Tornado. Common sight on the airshow birds or aircraft deploying, to carry extra goodies..
  7. That is fantastic, love the sound and spinning engines Amazing weathering and build...internals look brilliant, even if they are lost to most angles of viewing..
  8. Stunning build, looks like one of those kits were Revel got the shape spot on.. Very nice build, and result.
  9. Yes, i still make them..Sounds like your assembling quite a display.. Send me a PM, and we'll sort you out. Same goes for other folk that may need a DJRP for their Harriers.
  10. I'm sure the angles are wrong in all four corners, shame was expecting better accuracy 😉😂😂
  11. The darker scheme, lacked contrast and was little bland for the display circuit. Med gray and dark green looked good.
  12. Any hint to what maybe included in the second release. I'm sure we saw a full bomb load in the CAD drawing. I think the Falklands aircraft are the most famous, except for 558.
  13. The twin stores carrier and the 8x 1000lb Bombs fit was used early in the War, there is a photo in the World air power journal Gulf war debrief book.
  14. Same here, wonder how good this kit will be and what price?
  15. The IDS also carries the Harm, The aircraft featured is a cannon armed IDS but the kit does say IDS/ECR. HARM's are in the kit anyway, hopefully the 1500L tanks will be in the updated parts in this kit. Looks like Italeri has some strange marketing ideas.
  16. Why no armament in the box art?..The ECR's role is a HARM shooter, so would expect them on the box..
  17. I would of hoped for an E, the early phantoms have been done by other companys or can be done from those kits. The E is a far more interesting subject, with a great variety of schemes..
  18. Just seen on a news leter Revel are producing a 1/32nd Hawk T.2 this year. Box art and test shot model looks good with wingtip winders, dropped flaps and underfuselarge pod.
  19. Nice RAF Hercules, nice scheme. Love it. Has anyone ever done a Snoppy conversion for the Weather Hercules in the raspberry ripple colours?
  20. Nice line up of markings, i'm still not sure what my Favourite Typhoon markings are. With all the Squadrons now formed, surprised no one has done a sheet.
  21. Don't forget to add the dark RAM finish to leading edges of the wings and fin.
  22. Why we've not seen a two seat Viper baffles me, the kit/sprue is set up for it. Easy money for little effort, many modellers would scoop them up in there droves.
  23. There is a equipment Blister behind the nose landing gear, and another smaller one alongside the nose gear door. The Krueger flaps on the wing glove area were deleted and sensors installed in the leading nibs. The sensor bar on top of the fin also houses ECR sensors. HARM missiles carried for the mission also. Pm me if your stuck for the main underfuselarge Blister.
