  1. I thought it was "ok" but the CGI was lazily done...The Mouth actions when speaking were abysmal and many of the other body actions appeared stunted...were they trying to offer some sort of homage to the original? maybe...but it didn't work...Did really like the more edgy TB2 though..
  2. Beautiful.....This aircraft will always hold a special place in my heart as it was one of the first I saw at my very first air display...circa 1963 ish...RAF Binbrook...Then as a teenager I tried hard to pinch bits from one used for fire practice at the rear of RAF Swinderby ...Ooooops Naughty wasn't I...lol
  3. Superb building and a true inspiration to fellow modellers...well done
  4. Ha...This beats that hands down https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=6ifS2nP53Zs This is the programme that got me into SF. Oh and as far as Thunderbirds is concerned, I like the look of the new version, we didn't have CGI in our day and therefore can't truly compare it. This format is aimed at the children of today and their expectations are a lot different, they don't want to see strings and lifeless expression. I'm looking forward to seeing it.
  5. Thank you both....yes it is 1:150...I can't show the instructions as I have lost them over the years but I did contcat Heller and they said they would send me somme, although at this rate it may be finished befotre I get them ...lol I haven't modelled for m,any years and am also learning new skills, like airbrushing, but all in all Im quite pleased with it.
  6. Ok... so now I'm really afraid to do this having seen some of the fantastic modelling skills of the members on this forum. I do though believe that you can only get better by seeing other peoples ideas and practice....so....Here is the work so far on the Heller Mayflower kit kindly bought for me many years ago...I have to "break" it due to a seriously build error at the beginning but I think I recovered it ok..
  7. Super Model ...well done ... Ps ...does it come with a life size replica of 7 of 9? and do you want to swap?....lol
  8. So... Here am I returniong to modelling after a lkot of years and starting with making an effort at finally finishing the Mayflower my good lady bought me xxx years ago. Not a good start as I foubnd I had to split the hull due to me not interpreting the instructions correctly....sigh.....it broke in certain areas but am I downhearted ...no....at the end of the day I am supposed to be a modeller and therefore this is just a challenge to overcome ....oh along with learning how to use an airbrush correctly.... As I progress I will try to put up a few photos... Ps ..I am also building a Spade 1999 Eagle.....I just love all this
  9. I do these kits....I built this from scratch https://www.dropbox.com/s/x15f69z5gfygh53/Lammy%201.jpg?dl=0
  10. If you are getting spider webbijng then your paint is too thin/ or your pressure could be too high try moving your brush further away.....why do you use solvent paints?.....acrylics are much more user friendly?
  11. Is there nowhere now where Classic British Motorcycle models are made? Having returned to modelling after Mmmmffffpphh years I would love to build some of the classics that I had once built
