  1. Thanks Mate!!! Thank you Steve, Really appreciate the kind words and the helps, cheers Thanks, Maginot necessity with limited resources is source for innovations, Indeed, the top barrel is bit thick, I have already sand it but till look bit, I will be getting the new tool one soon. I am gonna make a similar one and replaced it later. Cheers
  2. Greetings Folks, Truly an international afford to make this FW-200. A BIG THANK YOU to Nick from the UK and @stevehnz from NZ. Without their bits of help, this would project would have ended up in a trash can. A few years ago, I bought this kit from a yard sale and never open the box for a few more years, when I opened the kit to check the sprue, I realised, there were many missing parts and the biggest let down was the clears parts, I told the seller and he said he can't do much as he himself didn't know where the parts have gone. So, I tucked the kit away, however, during the covid lockdown, I started to assemble the kit with whatever is there, there were two cowlings, 2 propellers, and some struts for the main landing gear, and two wheels missing plus the vertical rudder of the tail. Then on Facebook, I started asking for help and Nick said he can send some parts but not clear parts, excited I thought there might be hope in restorations so I wrote to Revell but sadly they told me the clear part for the FW-200 is not available as the kit is no longer in production meantime after 2 months the Nick part arrives, he sent me cowling and some parts for landing gear, which I married with what I have. Knowing there is no clear part I said I will move to other projects during that period I found there are Vacuform clear parts and I wrote a person from eBay sadly he never wrote me. So finally I thought I give the last shot on here and Viola, Steve responded and a few weeks later clear parts was in Mumbai, but I am yet to get it but during my office team meet in Mumbai, finally got the clear parts, THANK YOU, Steve, once again, so once I landed here it was full-throttle on the project, building the tail rudder was a bit of cheating so don't look carefully there you will find all the fault of the world hehe. Time has elapsed so much from day one to know that decals seem to be useless by now but that was less concern for me, Time for me to paint and my knowledge for Luftwaffe is just barebone, my apologies if the colors seem a bit off, I just eyeball from many ref on the net and painted something I think it is closed to me it does. I painted using one single green and variant was achieved using adding a little bit of white, brown, and grey. Decals, borrowed from other leftovers except for the main one, I use vinegar to make as a softener, it is great but seems to work. So, here it is, Thank you for watching and any feedback welcome. Cheers
  3. Thanks, Mate, Yeah the KP one will come with Chakra as well, it is will be a striking model once it is done Thank you, Steve it was darn hard I thought I give but once you start guess have to end it as well. 5. Publicity yes, it is very lesser known in the west for sure, but 5 aircraft are sent to the UK for military exercise and hopefully will get some publicity. I beg to diff on operational status, if you look at Rafale it first flew in 1986 and went into service in 2001 or EF 2000 in 1994 and introduce in 2003, for a country like our which was sanctioned by the USA after the 1998 nuclear test and with limited resources let alone an aircraft industries, I guess we pulled up in the pretty decent timeline. That being said, I am sure it is not as advanced as western countries' aircraft but compared to Pakistani I think it is better than J/F-17 even their Prime minister once said that but comparable with the Chinese one, Chinese have some advantages tho.
  6. Greetings Folks, This is an aircraft I wanted to build for some time. During my trip to Malaysia, some years ago a friend gifted me this kit. Well, the kit is before the current 1/48 scales kit. It was an Eduard tempest MK V with resin front from Model Design Construction, took almost two days to fit the resin parts to the body, it was darn hard for me, I have never done so many major surgeries on any aircraft before. After many trials and errors managed to fit it but I overcut the body by 5mm so have to rebuild that part. The old tooling of Eduard is like resin, plus so many pin parts literally everywhere it was a task trimming and sanding it. Once it was done, I used Mr.color as base silver then mixed black and brown with silver for different shades of metal modulations. For the Indian markings, it wasn't there on the decal sheet so I borrowed from elsewhere and applied it, so it will not be 100% accurate but I can live with it. So here it is, Thank you for watching, Cheers
  7. Thank you!!! Thank you Chris, I seldom do airline aircraft as painting white is extremely hard for me and messed up couple of time in the past. I flew the aircraft when it had that battery issues. A trivial note from my Journey almost a decade ago. During my flight, it was wee hour flight, the crew were serving breakfast, I asked the crew Ma'am what is this for breakfast, her reply "Food". Cheers Thank you Alex, appreciate the kind words, cheers mate Thank you, That part was tricky as the decal and glass window at some section it wasn't aligning properly so I have to use a hobby knife and adjust it, the wing didn't any walk line and some stencils so I printed a few and applied it. Cheers
  8. Thanks Mate Thanks, Vincent. It was but then all good now. I actually wanted a blue background but it was out of stock and end up getting pink and to my surprise it sure give the contrast of the aircraft. Thanks Thank you so very much.
  9. Greetings, This is one project I really wanted to do, ever since I first flew in a Boeing 787 Air India in 2013. For years I was looking for a kit but no joy but in late 2019 I managed to get one and the next big challenge was to get the Air India decals, on time to time it use to come up on eBay. But for the last few years it was out of stock, so going through stalemate I found a vendor, wrote an email, paid the money, and a few months later got my decals, downside it was a clear film and didn't have white so the surface you are working should be white. The painting was the hardest task, it was white, and white is quite hard to paint one go it won't register as white so it was multiple coats, and one silly mistake it all over, mistake like yr silly big thumb. Some parts, I have to strip and repaint again, boy! it was quite annoying to paint and almost end up using up one whole pot of Tamiya white. Don't think I will do airlines with white paint often but then most of them are white. Without further ado here, hope it looks satisfactory, Thank you for looking. Cheers
  10. That wings, I have to say, can't believe it is a scale model, 10/10.

  14. Greetings, Pete firstly I would say it again you are a brave soul, and we should all meet up who have built this kit and have some beers and bitch about it haha. I had the same impression first impression wow then meh. I think I will I have to work with Pitot tube and spine antenna. The front wheels, I thought I was the one making mistake with the mug guard now i kow I wasn't I broke the strut and have to painfully fix it again. I made a mistake intake splitter plates it should be parallel but it is not, I guess I will have to live with that. Awesome, job should have read yr article before attempting my adventure, cheers
  15. Greetings Folks, This has to be one of the most challenging kits I have built in recent time. A big salute to those brave souls who have built this kit. The instruction was way confusing and the kit was really torturous. The kit to building this kit was yr instinct, always dry fit like 10 times then go for it, but then there would be a huge gap in many places, the cockpit was hard to work on but nothing like the spine, and oho took almost a day to fix it, it just won't fit at ALL, It was quite frustrating but with few pegs and some surgery well finally it fit. There are problems in other places too but I will skip it. Less the said the better it will be. The painting was done using Tamiya since I didn't have exact paints, so I mixed an eyeball with color reference. There are some places I still need to work on but I will do that when I am fresh again, this kit has taken a toll on me. Anyway, here it is, Thank you for watching and any feedback welcome, cheers. Mig-23UB (Known as Vikram) of No.223 Squadron, will add the serial number and yellow roundel later.
  16. Thank you @David Womby, Hehe, I like taking these in flight pictures as it give a sense of how your model will look like if it flies. Much appreciated for kind words, cheers.
  17. Thanks Martin!! Thank you Mohawk hehe, you have been kind and your words of appreciation through our the years have been a source of encouragement, thank you Much appreciated Lewis, cheer Planning to get the singe seater as well, cheers Mate Thank you Wulfman, Mirage is a beautiful looking aircraft.
  18. Greetings, M first aircraft of the year and I started from one hell of a kit, the Heller 1:72 1979 tooling Mirage 2000b in Indian Air Force. The kit was a bit crude by today's standard and needs a ton of sanding, filling, and try fit. It was a bit exhausting trying to create a smooth surface without losing the detail was sanding it, plus already raised lines it was a bit challenging. The last time I built a Mirage 2000 was in 2014 and was hesitant to do the Mirage camo as it was a bit confusing, however, this time with Tamiya and local color modulation I am quite happy with what I have come out with. The decal was a bit meh and quite stiff so, I borrowed from another kit. without further ado here it is. Thank you for looking, cheers.
  19. That is one hell of a work, cheers bro!!! One of the best Mig-21 in silver I have seen in a while
