  1. Looking good from here DaveπŸ‘ I trust the nose has enough ballast to prevent any tail sitting. Shouldn't be too long till this one crosses the finish line. Nice work mate Cheers Greg 🍺
  2. Cool kit the MB Tempest, especially with the possibility of doing a II. I acquired one in the For sale section on BM well it would have been 2 but the second kit is missing it's wings. Will be watching to see which version I will do from my one(s) Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  3. Looks great HeatherπŸ‘ I'm glad you percivered with this one as it's turning out be be a real stunner. Cheers Greg πŸ‘

  5. COOL 😎 A wee question re painting metal parts, as I know like me you are an acrylic brush painter, how do you get acrylics to adhere to PE or the metal barrel you are using? Cheers and good luck with the build, Greg πŸ‘
  6. Thanks for the welcome, mein hosts 😁
  7. Thanks folksπŸ‘ I'm not a great figure painter but enjoy the challenge. I think I've seen these before but they are a bit pricey πŸ€‘. I had a US crew set for a build I did a while back, I'll have a dig about to see if there's any left. Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  8. Afternoon all, Her is my entry for the GB - Italieri's M4 Sherman based on the movie staring Brad Pitt. II haven't built any kind of armour in a long time. I think the last attempt ended in failure during the Tiger STGB which was a while ago.... However this is a Sherman so it has less road wheels and rubber band tracks (unlike the Zvezda Tiger) so it should be doable for me at least. The kit comes with lots of stowage very much like the film version with log applicate armour and plenty of baggage. No crew figures though so i will have a think about whether i will add some. Any way heres a few pics. TFL Cheers Greg
  9. Permission to come aboardπŸ˜„ I have a Corsair that would fit the bill for this one, Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  10. Thanks DaveπŸ‘ I'm thinking it won't be too long till this one's in the gallery, and I'll need to be starting another MB classic. Cheers Greg
  11. Thanks PatπŸ‘ I did have thoughts about extra detailing but having buttoned it all up I am happy I just built as is. Cheers Greg Thanks folks for the kind comments. Cheers Greg🍺
  12. Afternoon! More progress on the Halifax, which is coming together now. The photos hopefully show whats what. Last pic shows the wings attached but not glued in position as i have still to paint the uppers. TFL, Cheers Greg Front row have been reshaped given comments that the blades are too fat and not pointy enough!

  15. I loved those Revell 1/32 back then. I only ever got them on special occasions. A mate of mine had the Beau but I never built it. I'm leaning towards the Tiffie....
