  4. That's a really tasty Corsair, which looks great in those markings. I hope mines turns out a well as this. Great job and excellent finish. Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  5. PK 11 Hawker Hurricane IIc 3 Squadron RAF Warmwell 1941. A great wee kit that was a joy to build. Brush painted straight out of the box. Cheers Greg
  6. Morning all! Apologies for the lack of updates on this one but it went together so easily, and quickly it distracted me from taking photos, but there are a couple. All in all another really enjoyable build, which makes me wonder why i bother with the more modern toolings which are by comparison hard work at times! I think i may do yet another build in this GB but first i need to progress the Sherman i am building in that STGB. Anyway, here are some photos there will be some in the gallery too shortly. Thanks for looking, cheers Greg A comparison shot with the newer tool Airfix IIc. The MB kit still looks good for its age, i think
  7. Indeed! 😁 I enjoyed it so much I didn't take many progress shots. I will post pictures shortly. Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  8. Looks great Ian πŸ‘ I am moving more and more to 1/72 so it's good to see kits in this scale look to be as impressive as the bigger scales. I like the crew figures too. Cheers Greg
  9. Cheers Dave, I've finished it now πŸ™‚ I'll post some photos later today. ATB Greg πŸ‘
  10. Cheers! Got some paint on it yesterday so I'm moving along steadily. ATB Greg πŸ‘

  13. Thanks folks, much appreciated πŸ‘
  14. Superb πŸ‘ In terms of level of detail the Airfix 1/24 scale range is impressive. I have seen examples of their Hellcat, and Mosquito which equals your Typhoon. One of those for your next project perhaps? Cheers Greg
  15. Hiya, Got a fair bit done yesterday completing sections 1 to 4. All has gone together well with this Italieri kit with no poor fit or problems. I am just starting painting the lower hull and the undercarriage (or whatever the lower part of a tank is called!) All good so far, heres the pics, thanks for looking Cheers Greg
  16. Ding ding, round 4....... I can't resist another build to this infectious GB Unfortunately i don't have any of the missing subjects but will balance up the Spitfire Hurricane ratio with this nice little kit. I anticipate progress will be swift as i am also taking part in the M3/4 STGB which has just started. So a couple of pics to get the ball rolling, thanks for looking Cheers Greg BTW I am doing the box top version as @CanadaMoe is doing the night intruder option.
  17. Thanks for commenting Chris, I'm pleased you like it. Cheers Greg πŸ‘
  18. Many thanks folks for the kind comments. I will be adding another build to this amazing GB it's just too enjoyable not to! Only thing is all the kits in my stash are already accounted for. Cheers and thanks again Greg 🍺
  19. Halifax GR II Coastal Command 58 Squadron RAF ST Davids1944. OOTB build brush painted with Humbrol and Revell acrylics. Thanks for looking, Cheers Greg
  20. evening all! Well the Halibag is finished. She put up a bit of a fight at the end with the wings not wanting to attach but i got there in the eventually. If i'm honest its not my best effort and is a good "3 footer" as i have heard said! Never the less it is an impressive model when complete and with the open bomb bay lends itself to a diorama subject. Good to get this one finished as it took longer than i expected given the wing and stabiliser attachment which is poor. The main planes were waggling about a bit so required a few bits of packing. Another one for the gallery then. I will need to see whats next.... Thanks to all for looking, liking or commenting. Cheers Greg More in the gallery

  22. Pit looks nice and busy. Great work πŸ‘ Cheers Greg
