  1. Yes, Terry, it builds up in to a reasonable model. There is no denying that the scribing was tedious but the end goal made it worth it :). Thanks for your compliments. Martin
  2. Let's hope so although I have to admit that I have two of their RFs on my shelf un-built. I hope to get at least one built this year. Fingers crossed Martin
  3. I have looked back and I took some photos as I built her but never did the WIP. I used a F-86 resin cockpit as a generic jet cockpit for a bit more details, plus a MB seat, of course! Martin
  4. Me too, Andre, although it will be a little while before it appears. I decided to pick up one and another Hasegawa F-86D to do that same conversion as my last F-86H. THis time, though I intend to shift the cockpit forward slightly, to get it in the correct position. It may fail! Let's see ....... If it works it will be a Maryland ANG NMF machine. Martin
  5. Hi Wez @Wez. No, no WIP. Sorry. As you say, it is one of those machines that speaks 1950s and early jets to me. My fascination was with the Greek machines that were still alive and kicking in the 1970s and early 80s. I remember as a "spotter" travewlling round to see as many of these as I could - Belgian, Dutch, German, Greek, etc.... all retired, though. I did see flying RFs at Larissa a couple of times, though. :). Martin
  6. Hi all! Having recently hammered and screwed together a simple photo set up, which I have used for my Voodoo this week and others, I have had a little time today and so ventured back to the shelf and pulled out an oldie to re-shoot. THis time it is my F-84F, and machine that I have always loved. I hope you like the new images. There is a link in this case, in that the 450 gal. tanks came from a Voodoo, my current type of choice... (images moved to Post #1) Martin
  7. Thanks mate Praise indeed, although I think the images hide a few little errors ;). Thank you. Martin
  8. Thanks mate. Its nice to see a Voodoo afficionado giving her the thumbs up Martin
  9. Does that combine with the use of enamels? I am generally a enamel user.
  10. Very nice, mate. Is that AS-12 silver? Decanted or straight from the can? Martin
  11. Or you could draw and then cut masks if you are fortunate enough to have that facility. That way you can do white and NMF.
  12. Very nice work, Moa. You seem to handle those minute parts with ease ;). My banana hands just wouldn't cope! Martin
  13. Thanks Kev. I was brought up with them and love them all. Martin
  14. Thanks for the compliment, Neil. @Neil.C not a Voodoo, though......
  15. Thanks Derek. I, too, invested in LightRoom (Classic) which, of course, has Photoshop as part of the package. You are right, it is a fantastic tool. Sadly I haven't had time recently to "play" with it very much but I intend to very soon Martin
  16. Thanks Quangster. I'm not an expert by any measure but I try to get to where I am satisfied with the results. , I shy away from Alclad and those fumes Hi Steve! I appreciate the comments. ""make your eye balls bleed" red" - just wait until 32438 comes out of the paint shop Martin
