  1. Hi guys I wanted to buy some gloss and matt clear coats suchas the Tamiya X22 or XF86 respectively. I was thinking of buying the acrylic 10ml paint pots because the spray can versions are a little expensive but I wanted to know if they give a good finish when applied with a brush? I was thinking gloss for applying decals to tanks and then the matt for the last cote. What do you think?
  2. thanks very much, I hadn't considered that before. Btw do you know if you can apply ACRYLIC gloss and matt spray varnishes ON TOP of the lacquer based TS paints. I was thinking of buying Humbrol Acrylic varnishes but I am not sure of this
  3. Hi good morning, I have a M1A1 (HA) model tank that I want to build but I need to buy the paint for it. I am going to build it in the Operation Iraqi Freedom colour scheme which wis basically dessert yellow. The kit says that I should use Revell 88 Ochre Brown but looking around this does not come as a spray can and, since I have no airbrush, this is a problem. I have found a Humbrol spray can number 93 Desert yellow which looks good but maybe a bit too yellow. I have also found Tamiya XF-59 which to me looks like the perfect colour but, again, it does not come in a spray can variation. So what would you guys recommend for this vehicle? What spray paint would be the closest match to the real dessert yellow paint used in US military vehicles? Thanks very much for your help.
  4. That's looking amazing so far. You're doing an incredible job in my opinion! I had the pleasure to admire one of these in person about a year ago and I have to say it has to be one of my favourite Bugattis of all time...
  5. I really look forward to this buil! I am always interested in any Ferrari builds that come up
  6. Hi I am really looking forward to this build as I have one of these as well! Really interested in what colour scheme you'll choose.. or maybe just red?
  7. Congratulations, this kit is looking incredible!!! I bet that a photoshoot in the right conditions will make this model really difficult to contrast with a real Panigale
  8. hi, I know this is an incredibly old topic, did you ever managed to get a replacement part??
  9. I think this is beautiful, the shade of red seems perfect and the shine looks so realistic. I am very new to the hobby so how do you get your paintjob to look so close to real life? I have started to think that it is best to treat the car like a real life car and use real life products on them
  10. Awesome work in my opinion, simply beautiful... haha did they?
  11. Beautiful colour schem. I love the black rims... looks amazing man
  12. This looks beautiful man, the blue and metallic colour scheme just does it for me
