  1. Lovely job- I absolutely adore this kit too- sorely underrated by the Airfix bashers IMHO! TT
  2. Many thanks! Simpler times- tow your Moth to the field with your Morris 8, commit aviation then jump in the Bentley Blower and pootle down to the Kit Kat Club to find a popsie! Salad days! TT
  3. Almost a given Iโ€™d have thought and an FR.10 TT
  4. IMHO the AVI Fox is very nice and builds well- in fact I think itโ€™s better than their new Puss TT
  5. Um, that blue......? TT
  6. Blimey that actually is the size of a clog/shoe! TT
  7. This has caught me out before too and I use their acrylic spray varnishes all the time. It doesnโ€™t like humidity and especially thick coats. The trick is to hit it with a feather coat, let that dry for 20 mins then do your top coats Iโ€™ve never had this happen with their gloss but I have with their Matt. Itโ€™s a right pain mate sorry itโ€™s happened to you By the looks of things stripping is the only answer- I think the initial coat was just too thick TT
  8. That looks like another Tooby to me - perhaps Eduard have taken him on now as their go to guy! TT
  9. Instead of using the hyperlink can you just search for SAAF WW2 photos? Glad y'all are enjoying them as much as I did - there is something for everyone there as well as being a fascinating snapshot of squadron life on the move! TT
  10. Sorry Ian yes I did! Thanks for the pics and input ๐Ÿ‘ TT
  11. Thanks for the photos - does anyone else think they look a wee bit shallower (if not finer) than previous kittage from them? TT
