  1. It took courage to break up the tail like that and you did it, not only that but it is a convincing portrait of those milliseconds when metal failed. This work transcends "kit assembly" and elevates it to art that communicates a story. Thank you for sharing this!
  2. What looks more like metal than metal? Amazing work- thank you for sharing.
  3. Wonderful stuff Real Ed! You may just inspire me to build another Neptune!
  4. Really nice photography. Brilliant build but, I'm especially impressed by the pictures.
  5. Only version to see combat! Love the markings and execution of this build is definitely first rate!
  6. It should be in a museum! Well done! Question- how long did it take?
  7. Torpedo away! I really like the wave action and the figures- all top notch. Well done sir!
  8. Both are museum quality of historic aircraft! Handsome looking bi-planes to be sure- love the yellow wings/paint scheme. Very nice craftsmanship sir!
  9. Damn fine model sir! You did a great job on that pilot- I am envious of how convincing it is, the wash is spot on for facial detail- the camera can be cruel but nothing to hide here! The shark teeth version makes me want to pick up the new Airfix kit ASAP!
  10. That Voodoo that you do so well... Nice job- especial on the tricky yellow frame lines!
  11. I think you nailed the orange. The X-1 looks best in-flight or nestled in the belly of a B-29. Excellent job- I'm sure BGen Yeager would approve!
  12. This hobby means different things to different people- build what you want, the way you want- and don't take it too seriously...after all it's meant to be a break from ordinary life stresses. Welcome back to building model airplanes. I think you'll find that the kits have changed for the better. I love the variety of colors and patterns in Italian aircraft of WWII. Great start- keep building!
  13. Looks so real- I swear I can smell the JP-4! Very nice- I will have to get the Airfix kit and give it a go myself
  14. I like the "twogar" version of the Cougar better than the single seat version...some aircraft are like that. The F-100 looks better w/ two seats as does the F-106. The Hawker Hunter on the other hand, looks hands down better as a single seater!
  15. Nice job with the SEA camo! I especially like the aft end exhaust area treatment- it turned out very convincing. The bullpup was an awesome looking A2G missle- pretty penny is a pretty lethal gal!
