Aviation Megastore would still like to sell the Scaleworx products but there is still an issue about a paid for but never delivered order of 30 Oryx conversion sets. John has been promissing for ages that he would supply but somehow he never manages. Aviation Megastore orders were always paid upfront in order for John to buy the resin and prepare the moulds for these orders.

Oooh Nice, Saw them flying at Wonderboom Airport Pretoria some time ago. Just as weird as a Turbo Dak :-). Woul like to have it :-)

Me too but first my Oryx conversions ordered and paid for long time ago.

Cuurently Modelmaker in Poland is working on decals for the Mi14 to supplement the Top gun kits. They will neatly fit the Neomega set too I think. As there are quite some special Polish schemes there will be 3-4 different sheets at least.

Not, there is no grey in the Duch Camouflage scheme. It should be beige. There were two different patterns in the schemes but the colours were the same. Brown, green and Beige But Vaclav used the drawing in the Dutch profile for this preliminary! box art and this shows the beige as grey

Oh, neither dit Vaclav. But he said that he might do a future boxing (4th) with some resin tailplanes so you can build the silver 850 too.

Third box is indeed a pre war example with roundels. Originally also the prototype 850 was contemplated but as the tailsection differs for which Valom did not cater it was dropped. The black numbers will however still be on the sheet.

Well, the trick is actually simple, Valom put some of the risk of the investment inj his kits with the retailers. Instead of having to only stock one kit the retailer now has to stock several in the hope to please his customers , therefore buying more kits than he would have done if only one boxing was available. Voila.

Easy to explain, Janusz of Broplan cannot make any bigger vacuform parts than he does so has to cut the fuselages in two. And hey, if you can tackle a vacuform, you can get the fuselage straight too :-)

After having a hefty discussion with Vaclav Lominsky about this he insist on doing three boxing to increase his sales. he is very persistent with this... We are now contempalting an aftermarket decalsheet containing all three options so it would not matter what boxing you buy but it will then add to the cost... There is no difference between the three boxings, only the decals. These are now being redone as the first attempt contained errors. But all in all the Dutcgh Modellers are looking forward to the kkit

According to Smer the kits are expected to be available in june, the Su25's a bit later, July. Prices will be around 17 Euro's each

Hi Csaba, after that beautiful Comet may I suggest another DH product; the DH90 Dragonfly. I think you wil please many modellers. :-)

I have actually build a few MACH 2 kits like the Triton and Alizé. They need some tender loving care but a nice model can be the result. You do need some modelling talent in deed. In most cases they are the only game in town anyway

Revell will not do a DC7 for sure and if all modellers will wait for reduced prices sell off C54s there will not even be a civil DC4. So how is that for shooting yourself in the foot? It has happened with the 1/32 Hunter. The planned T7 never appeard due to bad sales of the single seater :-) Happy modelling

That is a converted C54 so in fact you do not have to change anything except fit some seats inside. The main external differences are the entrance doors. These NGAT C54's were among the planes Plesman got from the US government straight from the military to start up KLM again so had the military freight entrances. Besides that you have to check antenna fit and ADF balls etc but these differed form plane to plane anyway.

Nope, but DDA did allow us full access to their DC4 aircraft when it was still based at Schiphol Airport.... long time ago. KLM decals? Who know's, but you can already get these with Dutch Decals and use on the incoming C54 kit.

Actually the DC4 / C54 project started 17 years ago and Revell had our Dutch material for years! However Revell's financial management thought it would not be a commercial succes and blocked the execution of the kit for years. Much to the chagrin of Revell's project management department and us.... Indeed a civil version will appear. The Cad Cam designer had some troubles finding the correct information on the civil passenger doors. BTW the kit will probably be delayed a bit as it ws originally projected with all round metal control surfaces. I sedn in some pictures of dilapidated C54's with shredded fabric ailerons and rudders and finally the adaption was ordered.
