I took the body of the plane down to B&Q, I got some weird looks. I included the photo of the pipe in order folk can look it up. It's a "L" shaped pipe. It's as near as dammit a perfect fit. I did it this way as I'm not to bad at the filling and sanding side of things.

Cheers for the comments guys. I've only recently started to use aerosols. The paint is from Model Master and although a bit thick to put on, I was pleased with the results.

I'm using thin layers of Revell Filler. I've used it a lot in previous builds. It takes a while to fill the voids.

After lots of measuring and squaring I cut the fuselage and pipe. This is the result. Now time for lots of filler and sanding.

I studied various photos of the Virgin 787-9 in order to get the sizes and where to cut I went into my local B&Q and found a fuselage pipe insert which I was amazed fitted inside the fuselage almost exactly.

Hi there this is a build I've recently started. I got the kit relatively cheaply as it didn't come with a box. Ive added the windows however I'll smooth them over, in my opinion it just gives a better finish I've added this weight to keep it from being tail heavy.

Hi there been building models for a few years now, just s hobby builder. This is my latest build. It's a Zvezda Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The decals I bought from Draw Decal, and the paint is the correct FS colour bought from a company in Poland

He's getting The Revell 747 Cargolux Revell Learjet Revell Spitfire Airfix Lancaster Revell Airbus A400M Atlas Zvezda 787 In Thomson Colours 747 with the space shuttle This will keep me busy for a long time. He currently has 23-24 hanging from his ceiling, everything from a Emirates A380 which is my favourite thought to a Vulcan. I'll post pics up when I take better pics.

Can I brush this paint or is it airbrush only. Any tips on using it, as I've only really used Revell paints up till now.

Hi there probably my next build will be a Zvezda 787, I've bought Thomson Decals for it. I usually use Revell colours, does anybody know the correct mix to get the right colours. Cheers
