  1. love it. Great skills on display, thanks for sharing your fabulous work
  2. Superb model, great skills. The winter camo looks fabulous. One of the best I have seen so far.
  3. I am not normally drawn to jets. This one is an exception. In fact, i think it's one of the best models I have seen for a long time. It's magnificent. Superb workmanship and skills.
  4. My friend John came over today with his latest build, a cool looking Accurate Miniatures Avenger conversion. On and off he worked on it for a couple of years. Enjoy.
  5. The kit came with warped and bend landing gear and unusable mast. Replaced the mast, which is ok and spend a lot of time rescuing and part rebuilding the landing gear. That's ok-ish, but could have been better. I also struggled with the canopy. I wanted it a bit more closed, but that would have resulted in the canopy either not touching in the back or "flying" in the front. So had to make a compromise and open her up completely. Hence my "it's ok rating". But thank you all above for your encouraging words, and Simon I am looking forward to seeing yours posted here.
  6. Last year my daughter gave me the Schmitt as birthday present, this year it was a Lollipoop Not my best build, but I enjoyed it, and that's what's counts in my world.
  7. Great work. clean build with lots of attention to detail, very well done.
  8. Hi Ian, the base colour is from a Tamiya rattle can, I then mixed a little blue into the colour, just to alter the colour a bit and hand painted it on in "squiggles"
  9. Forgot a couple of things, Footsteps from copper wire (think those from the kit are too thick) and sprayed on the markings, And cut a windscreen
  10. Here's my latest. Eduard Pe and Ushi's rigging wire Scratch build the wheels, using Pe,hollowed out Albatros resin wheels, made up sleeves to hold the Pe etch, enlarged the Airfix axel and finished with a Pe spare part as axel nut. Scratch build the headrest Based on the WNW model of the same plane.
  11. Bring back memories...Great job!!!!!!!!
  12. nice weathering excersise. Like it a lot.
  13. Thanks John and Dave, it's a great kit which provided days of building fun. My only dilemma now is, which one's next? A tough choice with a WNW Albatros DV, Albatros BII and Hansa-Brandenburg W29 in the stash.
  14. Hi, thanks all. And for those above, who are considering a WNW kit, careful. I used to build WWII, then decided to check out what all the fuss was all about.....This is my second completed WNW kit, three more in the stash and eagerly waiting for new models.... They are great fun.
  15. Hi All, Here are some pics from my latest build. Aftermarket seat and seatbelts, stars sprayed on using masks. Lovely kit, enjoyed the build.
