  1. 3/12: My Airscale instruments seem to have gone AWOL in the mail from the UK so I have used a punch and die to take the instruments from the Revell "instrument panel blanket". Not as sexy as the Airscale decals but I can live with that. The pit is all sealed up and ready to be installed in the fuselage. I have fitted the Quickboost exhausts, the open ends look better than the solid Revell offerings. Couldn't resist putting the belly tank together. I love the look that this tank gives to the 109:
  2. Excellent start Matt, nice work on the seatbelts.
  3. Glad to see you have your Fairmile "D" Kev, this will be another epic build I reckon. Very impressive ship,
  4. Sunday 30th update: Work in progress on the cockpit. I have added some scratches and weathering to the seat. I didn't both to add straps to the rudder pedals, they will be invisible when things get put together.

The thread is still up and running: http://aeroscale.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=223177&page=1 Hi Manu, anything in excess can be deadly, including Gustav's It is a beautiful aircraft though, have to agree with that. Thank you for the kind welcome
  6. Looking great Kev, Airfix should give you a gold medal for rejuvenating their old lady.
  7. I bought this model when it was first released by Revell, ( I did a review here: http://modelshipwrights.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=9303 ), and have had it sitting in my stash since. It would seem to be a worthy subject for my first blog at Britmodeller.
