Fabulous build and stunning details which has given me lots of idea's for when I start my Memphis Belle build!!

I have just got this and added to my stash, and all I can say is "it's BIG!" . The detailing looks good and is going to be a very long term build. First kit I have seen in a long time with raised panel lines... and moulded in dark green plastic. There seems to be a lot of surplus flash on the sprue's but looks realtively easy to clean up, only time will tell.

recently purchased on fleabay and would recommend a package of Vallejo Air Camo colours which also contains a H&S Ultra on for around £70ish as the H&S Ultra is around £60 on its own, and the set of 10 camo colours on its own would be around £30ish, so would recommend keeping an eye open for bargins on fleabay. The H&S Ultra is stated by H&S as their entry level/beginners airbrush, and now that I have used it, I prefer this to my Iwata Revolution as it sprays better

I tried the spare tyre method but only for use when cleaning the airbrush, as the pressure dropped too quickly for any sustained airbrush session of more than 6-7 mins, so resorted to cans of air whilst saving up for a compressor. I would recommend cans of air only for a short time as by the time you have used 7+ cans of air then you are in the cost territory of a cheap compressor. You could write a letter to santa asking for a compressor!

Hi Telboy I have the following setup for the compressor. The compressor has a 3 litre tank and I usually pressure this to 60psi with the built in regulator/water-trap, which then feeds another regulator/water-trap built in to the airbrush holder, where this i set to between 15-25psi. With this setup, having two regulators helps to control the air pressure at the airbrush end and also with the tank at a higher pressure, it only fills up very ocassinally. Hope this helps

agree as well - got myself a new H&S Ultra and 10 Model Air Camo colours for £69 on fleabay last week, so am hope to trial it over the christmas hols!
