  1. Did they ever released or made the Mig-29 9.15 and also the Mig-29K? Luigi
  2. From the reply I got on ARC Forums when I asked about slatted RF-4E in service: The slatted RF-4E is indeed a rare beast there were only 16 made, 8 for each Air Force. The Turkish jets are serial numbers 77-0309 to 77-0316 and the Greek ones 77-0357, 77-0358 and 77-1761 to 77-1766. Incidentally the Turkish Phantom lost over Syria in 2012 was one of these (77-0314) making it probably the last Phantom to be lost in a combat zone. Here's an interesting picture file of the TuAF RF-4Es http://www.ole-nikolajsen.com/TURKISH FORCES 2004/RF-4E fotos.pdf and a photo of 77-0313 with slats in the two tone grey scheme: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/7918976. Probably most of the ones you saw visiting Deci' from both countries were the ex-Luftwaffe jets acquired in the mid 1990s! Username is Wild Weasel V (Jonathan ) I don't know if he posts here or not Luigi
  3. Foreign Su-30 were built using Su-27UB fuselage or the beefed up T-10M fuselage? Luigi
  4. Yeap I noticed that but I'm just after stencils since I have no plans to use real world markings for my builds Luigi
  5. Wolfpak decals should start to make stencils on top of those decals Luigi
  6. wish Hasegawa would sell F-35 weapon set apart, need a couple of those gun pods for the F-15S and after reading about Shapeways "brittle" problems I'm unsure if to order the pods, buy a couple of Orange Hobby F-35C and sell them minus the pods or fail for the Hasegawa solution Luigi
  7. It is either a ECM blister or a plum detector for the Hasegawa F-16D 52 Tigermeet #02214 spine, it is for now and maybe for the next 20 years the only kit that will require it. On theirs F-16 ADF there are also some extra beer cans that I never seen mounted on any kind of F-16ADF and all the instructions say to not use those pieces, Amaterasu only knows what were their plans for them I think you can use them to upgrade Fujimi Skyhawks cause Argentinian or Brazilian A-4s do have a similar blister mounted at fuselage sides Luigi
  8. 300 gal drop tank shape is off, or just my eyes? Luigi
  9. Wrapped up for transportation Luigi
  10. If I know what is inside the box I don't judge things from the cover even though covers depicting special color aircraft do really put me off Luigi
  11. Must suggest Modelsvit to put Michael "Lady Finger" Bay in charge of making more explosive box arts Luigi
  12. Was planning to buy their M and BM what's missing from both? Luigi
  13. If it was for me then sorry, I'm not Eduard's boss, I'm just noisy cause I fail to understand their market practices not only from their side but many others like Tamiya's lack of a complete F-16 family and in the meanwhile they pick a Spitfire and a BF-109, or Hasegawa and their lack of F-4C/D reboxes, been 11 years since their last 1/72 F-4C/D and nearly 20 years since their disappearance from catalogue. After all I like to yell at the clouds Luigi
  14. And that's why I'm so wee weed off, have to wait 5 years for it, while I watch them release 3890489023802383030103^12 variants of the same box with different decals instead of just selling the decals and the extra bits apart then calling quits for the Mig-21 agenda and maybe start the Mig-17 one Luigi
  15. when they will end to resell the same box for 10 times in a row, maybe Sometime I just wish that they will simply release the sprues with no decals, then do their tricks and in the meanwhile my Ace Combat Infinity Mig-21 Bis Huckebein will be already done with markings taken from Hasegawa and RV boxes plus Syhart and Begemot decals Luigi
  16. Partially built model is still there, added evergreen for spacer is 2mm Luigi
  17. I have both, the nose issue can be vaguely fixed by adding evergreen spacer between the fuselage and radome, then fill the gap and rescribe panel lines,I was planning to do that on mine AFTER SELLING all the Fujimi A-6 kits, then I noticed that tail dome is completely off and fought my way to purchase at least one of each plus 2 A-6E. Another problem with Italeri is that the fuselage and wings are still for a late A-6E so you have to remove shave ECM antennas of the wings, rescribe whatever is off, move fences, deal with the tricky and unpleasant wing assembly then backdate the fuselage and also fix the intake problem Luigi
  18. Did the russians at any point decided to add rocket pods to the Ka-25 or those just went straight to the Ka-27/29? Luigi
  19. Thanks Giorgio, for the rudder I meant the clear part at the base, for which I got the answer https://www.airliners.net/photo/UK-Air-Force/McDonnell-F-4J-Phantom-F3/536729 Thanks Tony, Speaking of drag chute doors there were only two types of them, one with ECM blister and clean, or there it was also a third version? Asking cause I see some differences between various Phantoms from different operators Luigi
  20. I have the pre-upgrade #130 boxing, Italeri like Revell crated a small mess regarding whos box comes with what cause (and I'm not 100% sure): 1st Release marketed as Italaerei or Italaeri #130 orange/red band 2nd Release possibly still retaining the orange/red band marketed as Italeri #130 3rd Release marketed as Italeri #130 green band 4th Release Italeri #130 orange/yellow-ish band, new decals (?) no upgraded moulds 5th Release same as above, new decals and upgraded moulds and I think I still have the instructions hiding somewhere Then Testors: See pictures on Scalemates From Scalemates timeline ignore anything else that is not Tamiya (rebox of #188, later ones come with Amraam missiles minus the ADF parts), Bilek again it seems a rebox of #188, not sure about Income box and Flying Kiwis but all the others SHOULD be kept on the LHS shelves Hobbycraft was a Smer kit with, the good things about both kits were just the decals contained inside them, cause one had early IDF markings and the Hobbycraft did come with well printed Venezuelan AF decals, otuside that the kit was a very poor copy of Italeri kit with nothing in common Aeroplast at least the earlier one was a mess, ditto for Intech, they were either copies of Smer kit or something guess and shaped like an F-16 Mastercraft was a rebox of Smer with some extra parts (mid sprue with C tail and drop tanks) added Earlier IDF F-16 used the small stabs, 100% sure about F-16B having them due a couple of old pictures found inside an encyclopedia but not so sure about F-16A, going to check some Koku Fan from that era Luigi
  21. Since my raid on the web left me still empty: I'm aware that cable bridle hooks were removed, by looking at some pictures it seems that they retained USN fairing but some other pictures are kinda foggy and it seems that the fairing was changed with AF covers, what's true? Was the upper reinforcement wing plate for the landing gear still there or not? Since I can't find any clear pictures of the bottom, the reinforcement plates were all the same for J/S aircrafts or they applied different ones? Was that a light at rudder's base or just a clear antenna? Maybe more to come Luigi
  22. I'm buying kits from Japan and Yahoo Auctions through a proxy, so I have to pay proxy fees, local japanese shipment fees then shipment to Italy Ebay for certain things just sucks either you can't find what you are looking, if you find it then it cost way to freaking much or seller whom has the kit for cheap ships from the US with humongous charges and the customs here DO charge for shipment prices+declared item value. By fetching them from Japan and halting my bid values to a maximum of 4000 yen I just pay around 15€ in fees and since SAL shipment is dirty cheap they will not charge me for that Luigi
  23. will go wow if they re-release a 1/72 F-4C/D boxing cause in a week I bought two of them and I probably need one more, but those dang prices are getting out of hand, especially when I have to pay shipment charges twice (in Japan and from Japan to Italy), still have to hunt down two F-4F and possibly two F-4E Luigi
