Sorry, I have a tendency to twist things in real life too and it wasn't my intention to defile your comment, sometimes I do like to hunt down some kits just for a couple of things from their decal sheets because there is a lack of numbering, letters and most of the times specific stencils or the entire stencil set. For example I need 6 numbers 430 for a Huckebein's Mig-21bis from Ace Combat Infinity and I decided to use a font which is more soviet block inspired than the one used in the game, but for it I either need RV Aircraft Mig-21MFN or the MF special box with the huge decal sheet as I cannot find anything similar on the aftermarket Regarding Airfix Mig-29 my problem was that when you place it next to Italeri kit you will notice some differences, my gripe were wings shape and how tall they sat, spine was okey-ish and its fuselage was not a disaster like Hasegawa offering but it was off for me Luigi

get them when moulds are still in good shape, fiber glass it's a very nasty girl not only to make something out of it but also to work with, if it's that kind of fiberglass you have to wear an hazmat suit and vacuum out all the residues, if they didn't be sure to add a layer of paraffin in the interiors otherwise with warm temperatures and whatever it will smell and release toxic fumes. Hasegawa did a couple of RF-4EJ with pods, the first one is box KA-104 with a resin TAC pod, second one is box 02075 with plastic TAC pod, LOROP and TACER pods, in the past I remember spotting on some YJ blog some Hasegawa kits sporting resin made LOROP and TACER pods but I didn't save the pages nor took a note of box numbers. That's why I called revellmonomatchbox thing , fuselage was better than Matchbox offering, but radome, exhaust, air brakes and everything else but the cockpit was not, still the extra sprue contained on those boxes are somehow ok as a good offerings for Italeri kits Luigi

They are all the same, F-16A dressed as F-16C, on the other thread I said that Revell was missing Belgian AF ECM lumps and bumps but those are contained on the AIM-120 sprue which is included on any given MLU boxes 'cept for #04355 and #04363 box. If anything avoid #04317 and #04318 boxes due them being Revellmonogramchbox things Luigi

Trying with not avail to find pictures of ALE-40 dispensers mounts, here on BM forums there are a couple of GR3 pics with them but it's unclear to me if they were was flush with the fuselage or not, on the other hand it's a desert for AV-8C ones, did they adopt GR3 solution or it was a different story? For the Super Hornet I was aware that Revell did something wrong not only about its engineering but also in terms of shapes?As for Academy SH I still have to buy one, I do have a couple of Hasegawa Super Bugs but I'm not planning to build an empire out of them Luigi
