  1. It is probably the "seed" or the "heart" not sperma, but if it was the heart then he should have said tamashii. Regarding flashy schemes I have counted around 20 if not more camouflages that are readily available through the internet by stealing the camouflage scheme from instructions and I had them sorted somewhere on my PC but I either lost that document or forgot to save it upon exiting so here is a part of it, I'm not including aircrafts painted with standard camouflage and some stripes here and there ala early F-15DJ aggressors 07-8428 301 Squadron 1984 #428 Mig-21 Silhouette decals and instructions available from Hasegawa 00752 1/72 and 1/48 09617 box 07-8429 306 Squadron 1982 #429 decals and instructions (incomplete) available from Fujimi G4 box (2nd edition), complete scheme available from a Koku Fan magazine 07-8430 305 Squadron 19XX #430 decals and instructions available from Fujimi 1/48 F-4EJ box (can't find its code) 07-8432 302 Squadron 1984 #432 decals and instructions available from one of the early 1/72 Hasegawa F-4EJ that had an extra set of decals on it 07-8432 302 Squadron 19XX #432 decals and instructions available from Fujimi G-4 (1st and 3rd edition) Testors No.687 1/72 box and also from Fujimi 1/48 F-4EJ box (can't find its code) 17-8437 301 Squadron 1992 #437 decals and instructions available from Tomytec AC-112 1/144 F-4EJ box 17-8438 305 Squadron 1992 #438 decals and instructions available from Tomytec AC-122 1/144 and Tamiya 1/32 F-4EJ box 27-8305 305 Squadron 1982 #305 decals and instructions available from Tomytec AC-111 1/144 F-4EJ box 27-8305 301 Squadron 1999 #305 decals and instructions available from Hasegawa 00058 1/72 box 47-8328 303 Squadron 1981 #328 snatched from a Koku Fan magazine 47-8329 301 Squadron 1999 #329 decals and instructions available from Hasegawa 00058 1/72 box 47-8335 306 Squadron 1982 #335 decals and instructions available from LS 1039 1/144 F-4EJ box 47-8338 306 Squadron 1984 #338 snatched this build from a Japanese blogger 47-8347 306 Squdaron 1984 #347 decals and instructions available from one of the early 1/72 Hasegawa F-4EJ that had an extra set of decals on it 57-8354 301 Squadron 1992 #354 decals and instructions available from Hasegawa SP-73 1/72 box 57-8357 301 Squadron 19XX #357 decals and instructions available from Fujimi 1/48 F-4EJ box (can't find its code) 67-8383 305 Squadron 1992 #383 decals and instructions available from Hasegawa SP-73 1/72 box 77-8397 303 Squadron 19XX #397 snatched from a Koku Fan magazine 77-8398 301 Squadron 19XX #398 Mitubishi F-1 silhouette, decals and instructions available from Tomytec AC-119 1/144 F-4EJ box 87-8407 306 Squadron 1981 #407 decals and instructions available from an early Hasegawa P-2 1/48 box (option was latter removed cause wiffle you) 87-8414 301 Squadron 1980 #414 decals and instructions available from Tomytec GK-101 1/144 F-4EJ box 97-8424 303 Squadron 1980 #424 Aero-Master did a decal sheet with this aircraft, sadly the camouflage scheme it's incomplete, Koku Fan magazine has the complete scheme they should prioritize aggressor schemes instead of wasting decal film and ink for flying beer cans Luigi
  2. I suspect that for the F-16 and the F-4 Italeri will do what they already did with their EF-2000, Rafale, Mig-29, F-15C and F-5E, correct or replace drop tanks, weapons and pylons then add random "modern" parts and decals. Luigi
  3. It's probably from Esci, as Esci had different cars like the BMW M1, Porsche 935 and a couple of others that are now reboxed by Italeri Luigi
  4. Aoshima released different S30s with aero body, no engines though Luigi
  5. F-4C/D also used both variants, Squadron in Action book had a picture of a flight of three Ubon?Udorn F-4D with LGB and I think one sported a different camouflage than the others Luigi
  6. I think Special Hobby had more than one mistake, pretty sure there it was a dedicated thread on ArcForums when Loach & Cobra kits were released and people wasn't as happy because modern variants were once again ignored and forgotten Luigi
  7. Be aware that during Desert Storm certain squadrons used WRM drop tanks which lacked the rear ending and were painted in lighter gray. Hasegawa F-15s have 4 drop tanks so everyone should have at least a spare tank. Luigi
  8. Is something wrong with Fujimi kits? I snatched EM Flat Nose, EM '85 Turbo and EM RS '74 for cheap and I was thinking to convert at least the '85 to a '78 but I can't find any real life picture with Kremer kit installed. I'm well aware that kits of the Turbo 3.8 RSR are a big mess especially all the special versions with race decals (and random sets of rims) as Fujimi completely ignored enlarged fenders, intake ducts on fenders and many other stuff but outside that, it's a starting point if someone want to convert it into a RUF CTR Yellow Bird (lots of pictures online), Wangan Blackbird by stealing parts from Revell 934 kits and lots of guessing due TBK bumper and his hybrid backstage, also you can kinda make a Yoshida Specials 930 with lots of ifs Luigi
  9. Wasn't the PD variant the one with ECM blisters at the side of the intakes? Or it's a different PD variant under a different guise? Luigi
  10. Probably the same Harriers that did multiple mock up battles against AMI F-104s here in Sardinia Luigi
  11. Wrong Scale It's in 1/72 so I'm fine Wrong Manufacturer Revell in last years dropped their attention to the stencils, so yeah sometimes it is the wrong manufacturer especially if I have to drop 20€ for a decent decal set Wrong Variant The F-15 for me is the king of the plain and gray aircrafts, even if I exclusively built Ace Combat, Area88 and random game aircrafts, finding some pleasing camouflage for it it's getting hard, I have plans to build 16 F-15s, only Garuda will sadly sport that stupid gunship gray camouflage Wrong Markings As long they have usable stencils I don't care Not Another [insert type here] I'm still waiting for SMT/D STOL, , SG/SE whatever, Spam Eagle and Silent Eagle variants to be released, either by resin or by someone else [insert type here] doesn’t make money for [insert manufacturer here] As for now I only own a single GWH kit and guess what? It's the F-15E cause I was planning to fix Hasegawa Eagles by stealing parts from it [insert manufacturer here] would do a better job As long they don't bait and switch like many others do I'm fine, but I think that Revell will probably forget about a proper A variant anyway, or make an A~ish variant by using museum samples which are poisoned by the ineptitude of their own curators Will there be any aftermarket Isn't there? To expensive Auctions Too detailled Have enough sandpaper to dig through a mountain Not detailed enough Just paint it as a G1 aircraft and give it to your son Luigi
  12. First ICM release was a rebox of whatever kit from either Condor or Eastern Express, there are at least two boxes with a probably third one that I once spotted on Ebay, which are: Blue perimeter with both 31s on color One aircraft is painted, other one is B&W with the fired missile under 1/72 writing Last one was similar to the one used when the new tooling was released but I don't remember the differences Zvezda did made it's own tooling which for what I remember was a mix between prototype due engines and whatever they wanted it to be, I once owned both, now I only have the Mig-31B kit and there are no differences but an extra sprue between them. Condor/EE tooling was a pain in the bum to build, I remember fixing upper fuselage first, then vertical stabs and the bottom section for last because intakes and whatever did not align well. Luigi
  13. I think any given Hasegawa F-4EJ Kai comes with both normal and Kai outer wings, because Hasegawa for Kai kits was reboxing the KX-4 kit with and without its decals, for this I'm sure because I bought (then sold) and checked many boxes prior the advent of the limited edition 00XYZ series. The only unknown are JASDF RF-4E boxes as I only owned a dozen of 00772 boxes and still have a single 02075 box and they all had/have both Kai and common outer wings Luigi
  14. It's the ICM kit https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10690265 Luigi
  15. This is ot~ish due Gene reaction, but since I'm some cryptic dude sometimes I find it hard to explain myself Sorry Gene, as I said many times I'm tired of companies luring and then forgetting. I know that they do not print money nor are swimming on it, as I know that as a scale model builders WE can somehow fix the gaps by stealing hits & bits from other kits and none other than our own wife ( and I still don't have one) and maybe our wallets will be ever capable to properly judge us for our trickery. I realized that buying 8 Tamiya kits, planning to downgrade them to A was not worth the hassle, still downgrading them to early C or N variants is kinda doable by sacrificing Revell kits and for Revell kits I'm sacrificing a couple of Hasegawa ADF kits because otherwise I will have to use Italeri spare parts but I don't want my shelf to be filled with F-16s But for the F-4 it's a different story, there is the eternal wind-shield problem, the fact that early B had different panel lines on both nose and vertical stab, the phact of door 19, something related to wings and it's differences between naval and land version, there is way too many stuff to be aware off that ticks me off and I don't want it to be another Czech built Mig-21 vs Russian built dilemma especially if none ever dared to approach both E and a Mitsubishi built EJ to check how much stuff was changed Fine Molds will probably release an RF-4E variant as they probably make some B/N or J, otherwise Hasegawa will keep reboxing their F-4 kits with VF-84 decals and goodies, but outside that since there is not so much for them especially in the C/D and G territory I doubt they will ever release said variants. It's the same for the F-14B, they made a D as limited edition kit, then they release two A variants, where in the F is the B when all the parts needed are already there? Luigi
  16. that's why I didn't order ANY, it they are planning to copy Tamiya with their bait & switch habits, I would rather stick with Hasegawa and Fujimi UK Phantoms and close both eyes for the windshield thingy than buying at least 16 F-4EJ FM kits and unleash the kit-bash chore with Hasegawa parts, no thanks, really no, I committed the error of buying 8 Tamiya F-16s and I still need to go after to at least 5 Revell F-16 and 2 Kinetic kits to steal parts and crap for the intake and polish block 52 antenna parts. Luigi
  17. Is at least Trumpeter 1/72 9-12 spine, fine? Luigi
  18. Aim-9B then switched to Aim-9L or M after the upgrades which on wingtip launchers it required a rail upon o rail Luigi
  19. Even though I follow Touge, drift and JDM related channels on Youtube the available 1/24 kits for nearly everything are a big miss and a big mess. For the BNR32 of any kind but possibly #1 type Fujimi offering is the same kit, with the same chassis over and over again. Race kits do contain a newer interior and a common rollbar system, rim types to vary and sometimes the picture outside the box shows Volk Racing rims but instead you will find common R32 type rims. There are two type of common kits, one with the basic bumper, one with another bumper and some extra parts, any kit labelled with a GT-Wing or Carbon Whatever mostly contains what Fujimi already offer or offered you in the past so they are worth spending some extra bucks only if you are a collector or after certain decal options Tuned kits for what I have seen the Veilside either contains white metal or resin parts, lots of flash, lots of meh, the BNR32 with widened body just contains parts taken from Fujimi box that contains different wide body parts for three or more other cars, still you are in the need of wide Watanabe rims and some extra spacers, do not waste money hunting them down as the conversion kit when it's on stock it will cost you around 13€+ shipping Type #1 kit probably contains R31 body but I'm not sure, I didn't save pictures from every auction I saw Lower body from whatever kit comes from a Fujimi FD3S Aoshima kits have engine parts, sadly they made lots of tuned cars and I'm having problems tracking everything down as Hobby Search doesn't have pictures for the whole pack, Initial-D kit seems to be nice enough, I'm not very fond of the R32 so outside the two Wangan Midnight cars, Initial D, Wide Koenigs-like thing and a car from the real Mid Night Racing Club I'm not planning to waste too much money on them I still have to buy Tamiya R32 but since there is only one model and my kit research is halted I'll probably skip it If you need help decrypting Fujimi BCNR33 kits contents say so and I will make a nice blog post on the car forum, as for BNR34, sorry but I don't like them at all Luigi
  20. Zvezda offering is generic base fuselage for all the variants they have in the calogue minus the early A/D variants with the tail rotor on starboard side. The only different parts are just the forward fuselage section and weaponry, everything else is common, now if you need to build certain variants you are looking into modify main rotor, change some panels here and there especially if you have the D parts from Eduard box, revise chaff/flare supports, reinforcement plates and interior stuff. Luigi
  21. most of Italeri kits are just decal material. Their EF-2000 is from the 90's, they upgraded/changed the missiles and left everything untouched Luigi
