Now that is one mucky BTR, brilliant!

-
JackG, some good stuff on your flickr.
Nice to know about the lack of links to produce the track sag. When I get round to building my VI's, I'll do the desert variant first so I have extra links for the other 2.

Couple more links (actually just one, the second is for photos being referred to in the build review):

... and here's a shot of my completed construction phase:

Now that looks the biz. Do you have a WIP for this build?

-
Very nice work, next please.

-
Very nice...more please.

-
Looking very nice; tanks and figs. Are the figs much over scale?

-
Brilliant work...again.
Can I ask, what is your typical build time for these subjects; model and dio? -
A well presented staged build as per instructions...at least somebody uses them.

Carry on...

Looks nice and battered. I like how you've shown the panels/ parts taken from other a/c.

-
Looks like it's been put work with overtime, lovely.

I know what you mean about doing all that work on the wheels and then it's hidden behind a skirt. I've just completed the 'Tortoise' and I'd say a good 75% was behind the skirt!

Get cracking...

Excellent work with the CA kit.

We may moan about the CA kits but like everything else, you have to make do with what's available at the time...we are modellers after all.

A very nice looking bird.

Very nice. Keep up the good work.

I like it...a lot. Nice to see some 'braille' armour as once I've finished the few 1/35 kits I have, this is where I'll be going... more please.

Now that is very pretty.

Stunning.
-
A very nice looking Sabre, one of many I plan to build.

-
Mind blowing what you're doing, very impressive.

As to your glazing issue, I have seen canopies done where the black decal/ paint has been applied to the inside.

-
Looking very nice, keep it up.
-
Nothing like a bit of modelling for therapy. Your build is looking good...keep it up.

Thanks for all your comments. I do like the old bird as it's a bit 'left field' of the norm that many of us do. As I said, I didn't enjoy the rigging side of things but it needed to be done. Lack of space is pushing me towards the 'Braille scale', you never know, the WW2 fighters may continue there...after my Sabre fetish that is.

I've built a number of resin kits; both armour and planes. With resin it's mainly about the preping. Wash everything and everything again. All sanding should be done with wet/ dry...want none of that dust in you. Bubbles on resin armour was my main problem; I used superglue as a filler, accellerate it and sand after 5-10 minutes otherwise it becomes to hard. Tiny bits are very fragile, take care or you'll be scratch building.
Now carry on with the build if you please.
