  1. Just got mine today and you are right - Oh mien Gott!!!! I'm in love. Where the heck do I start? It is absolutely stunning. No idea about accuracy and not too fussed so long as it looks right. Only complaint is the aircrew - I know they would have been the subject of rationing but they all look a bit thin and don't appear to be wearing the old sheepskin flying suits - but hey got to do something that's not in the box. Nice build the WIP will be very helpful - cheers Graham
  2. That has to be the best markings for a Canberra ever!!! Love it! 'scuse ignorance but is that the same version as the Airfix 1/48th? Looking at Airliners the wings are white on top. Graham
  3. Interesting detail from this shot is the HUD is red not green Graham
  4. Does anybody know if there is a resin seat and decals available yet? Nice build so far, Silverburn, I'm picking up some good tips Graham
  5. He's excellent - though he was in the UK when I last ordered I think three TSRs off him (I still have two!!!) Graham
  6. Anthony I've got both the Pavla and CMK cockpit sets and must say that I prefer the CMK - not least of all because you get a vacform canopy and windshield. Moldings seem crisper also. Not sure about the other sets though. Graham
  7. Them wings is a bit bendy aren't they??? Graham
  8. As I said before: Nice. I have a real soft spot for these Tiger Meet schemes. Seems to me, though, that other nationalities schemes are always much more interesting than ours! Thanks for posting. Graham

  10. Graham, thanks, sorry I'm not with you...the intakes are definitely undersize , that's why I think the taper was added by Airfix, so that everything would blend together. Andy Andy Looking at the kit on top of the plan - the plan of the intakes where visible appears to be narrower than the kit fuselage (the penultimate of the your model/plan photos) even taking into account perspective - implying that the drawing shows the wider part of the fuselage narrows towards the intakes and that the kit's doesn't. I've not compared the kit's intakes to drawings as all my stuff is still in storage (until Friday Hurrah!!!!!) so it's all just a thought - if you see what I mean!! Graham
  11. Great drawings. Great modelling. Is it possible that the Airfix intakes are the right size but they haven't put the taper into the main fuselage? Graham
  12. Good stuff - first thing noticed was that the concept was very similar to the one used in UFO for lauching the moon shuttle. Better start saving me pennies Graham
  13. I guess from this dio we're going to find out what happened to the BA collection at Cosford?????? Graham
  14. Lovely - something really nice about black Hawks Graham

    Custom decals

Very attractive Irish singer from the late 60's early 70's?? Graham
  16. I concur with Cruiserguy - Halfords for all (and sometimes more) the base colours - primers, whites, blacks greys, reds, yellow etc. They have a great range of colours (lots olf different whites!) which can be matched. Obviously they don't do every colour and you can't use them for everything but I've done a number of models using them only. Easy to use and cheap. Graham
  17. In keeping with the WMD in Iraq............ They say that aircraft crashes are rare and this pilot has had two in less than a year........... hope he's not sitting next to me on my next flight..... Graham
  18. I would concur with that - I was going to decal my 1980s T(ory)SR 2 proposed rehash with the MA decals but decided against when I realised there was only one set of stencils which I will need for a proper Wif. Not sure about the Xtradecals though??? (I have them but they are currently in storage damn it!!) Keep up the good work Herr General. Graham
  19. And each sprue comes with a one Euro coin - bargain! Can't wait.... Graham
