  1. It got a thumbs up from me. Watched the first episode on the Sunday and downloaded the remainder from ITV hub on Monday and watched the lot. I was knackered at work on Tuesday…. Graham
  2. I really liked it, binged watched in a day. Lead actor went to the same school of acting as Arnold Schwarzenegger but looking forward to series 2. Graham
  3. I’m not sure enjoy is the right term but I did like it. And more poignant given current events. Recommended. Graham
  4. The trouble with things like this is I just want to blow them up ! Absolutely fab. Graham
  5. Oh boy, that looks fab. Look forward to seeing the rest of the LUT. Graham
  6. WHAT? You mean Joe 90 is not a documentary? I’m gutted. 😭😭😭 Graham ( who, being the same age and with a passing resemblance, dearly wanted to be Joe 90)
  7. Nice, that looks fab. 👍👍👍 It never ceases to amaze me that the lunar module isn’t all white! Graham
  8. What is it with the trend in new and refurbished properties to have the kitchen, dining room and lounge all in the same room? What with my cooking skills and the wife being Thai (chicken feet…. 🤮🤮🤮) I’d prefer to have a kitchen at the bottom of someone else’s garden. Why not go the whole hog and have the loo next to the telly? Graham
  9. That reminds me of the Jasper Carrott sketch where he very nervously met his girlfriend’s parents for the first time. The girlfriend’s dog was doing just that and Jasper said “I wish I could do that”. To which the father replied “Give him a biscuit and he’ll let you.” Graham
  10. As I’ve said in other threads I truly abhor this kit. I’m no rivet counter and to be honest I could put up with most of its inaccuracies but I could not live with that nose. That’s just a cock-up too far (actually I wanted to say something stronger than cock-up, though it did end in up). I did read somewhere, years ago, that someone was planning an aftermarket correction but have not seen anything. I think my biggest problem is that I was so looking forward to it when it was first released but it was just so bad it was a massive disappointment. I cannot understand how any self respecting company can put its name to such a pile of 💩 You pull this off and I’ll nominate you for a knighthood. Graham
  11. Seems the Daily Fail reads this topic: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10542683/Why-Kyiv-instead-Kiev.html Graham
  12. I’ve been told that the only reason Buccaneers get airborne is due to the curvature of the Earth. Graham
  13. I hope your modelling year goes from April-March! Graham
  14. Indeed, though if you mute him you also loose the fabulous roar of the engines! Graham.
  15. I’ve been watching BJTV (perhaps an unfortunate abbreviation…..) again with the Typhoons leaving Coningsby. Exciting stuff, especially the one that went into a near vertical climb! what I’m trying to work out is what all the hate is about? While he does talk rubbish at times, he’s not that bad. Graham
  16. Oooooo, now that’s a bit nice. Graham
  17. All I can say is that I want some of what Gerry was on when he thought it up. Still better than Terrahawkes though. Graham
  18. Yes, but I can handle it….. (I’ve also got six 1/72 and three 1/48 Dynavector vacforms which has an accurate forward fuselage- I plan to mate one with the Airfix kit at some point. That said I’m not a rivet counter either and can live with an out of the box kit. The Dynavector really is a lovely kit but generally I’m not too keen on vacforms. Graham
  19. Available on YouTube. Not heard of it before. It’s addictive viewing. Scary and skilful stuff. Graham
  20. I’ve made a couple and really like it. But then I like anything TSR2. I have eight more in the stash. As said above, some minor inaccuracies and at least one big one - the forward fuselage gets wider towards the point it meets the intakes. Difficult to rectify but I can live with it. Graham
  21. Why, and when, did Kiev become Kyiv? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Graham
