  1. My preference is for Windsor and newton series 7 but Rosemary and co series 33 are great brushes for half the price. I prefer the series 7s because they have larger bellies and so hold a bit more paint. I’ve also found they keep a fine point for longer but that’s just my limited experience. As others have said, brush soap is a must with decent brushes like these. It makes a huge difference in brush longevity.
  2. How many coats did you have to put on with the orange? Looks like it covers well.
  3. Oh that sounds interesting. Im always fascinated by all the different specialist products that are out there that we rarely hear about.
  4. Its harder than plastic when its dry but does sand well and being catalyst cured, it dries fast. Might be worth a look one day. Only downside is that it smells pretty bad!
  5. Looking good! Would automotive body filler not be better for those large areas than Tamiya putty if its expensive? (know im a bit late, your all done on the main body!)
  6. Whatever you spray with, even acrylics, you really should buy yourself a proper respirator and use it all the time when your airbrushing. http://www.amazon.co.uk/3M-Spray-respirator-06941-filter/dp/B0051BNCP8
  7. Small house painting brushes can be good for larger weathering and dry brushing, you can cut the bristle length down if you want them stiffer too.
  8. I thought I was looking at reference photos there! Amazing
  9. Good fix, should be really strong now and hopefully more stable too.
  10. Thank you, ready for me to screw up at the painting stage no doubt!
  11. Most of the landing gear interior detailing added Need to add some stuff on that blank looking back wall and ill be done i think.
