  1. He answered my Emails reasonably quick - from his gmail.com address.
  2. Looking at the sprues, I can`t see any of them being common with German/Austrian built Bf 109G types, possibly with the exception of the one with the canopies.
  3. It was on sale during the Moson model show, a large box with an incredible number of extremely detailed pieces for just two such small models.
  4. The other original BE2f (in Norway) doesn't have the gravity petrol tank under the top wing.
  5. https://we.tl/t-TpI57Ph4yg Click on the link above to download the pictures from WeTransfer - it is valid for a week (until Saturday).
  6. I have uploaded a set of pictures (nearly 2Gb) from 2017 showing Norwegian AW 101 SAR Queen 0265 / ZZ102 It has mixed markings with ZZ102 visible and some of the 0265 markings covered. For reference use only, if you want to publish any pictures please check with me first. https://we.tl/t-TpI57Ph4yg
  7. Looks like a crossing between a DH Vampire and a sumo wrestler. It will go nicely with the other Japan 46 kits in my collection.
  8. Ukraine is a large country, as the Russian soldiers have found out If MicroMir / AMP are based in Kyiv or Lviv, they might be able to keep calm and produce model aircraft. I think modelsUA also previously had an option for sending kits via Poland - I will test with a small order and see if it makes it to Norway.
  9. I have some of the IFR kits, the printed parts for the airframes are good, with hardly any stepping. The weakness are the vacuformed clear parts, I think they should contract them out to someone who can make cleaner and better fitting transparencies.
  10. Ebay store with Master-X kits https://www.ebay.com/sch/luves43/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
  11. Kora / LF Models have released Kawanishi Baika II and Baika III injection moulded plastic kits in 1:72. Looks like a cross between a manned V-1 and the Japanese Baka kamikaze weapon. https://www.lfmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5_73&products_id=3861 https://www.lfmodels.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5_73&products_id=3862
  12. https://www.modelsvit-eshop.com They list the VVA-14 experimental amphibious aircraft as back in stock. Besides Modelsvit, they also sell a number of other Ukrainian kits (from SOVA and A&A) Modelsvits eshop is run from MODELSVIT BALKANS LTD 2А "Blagovest" Str, 4003 Plovdiv, Bulgaria Plovdiv is also the location of the Bulgarian AF museum and well worth a visit - it can be done as a daytrip by train from Sofia.
  13. Quite a few of Revell 2022 aircraft and vehicle releases were supposed to be in co-operation with ICM and Zvezda. Unless the sprues are already in Germany for packing in Revell boxes, I don`t expect these kits to appear until peace has returned to Ukraine.
  14. You can follow them on http://frrom.com/index.php?page=Accueil-2 With FRROM concentrating on aircraft from France, Romania and Belgium as injection moulded kits in cooperation with Special Hobby, I think the 1/72 Cierva C.19 is an unlikely candidate for them. It looks more like something that will appear as a resin or printed kit from a smaller manufacturer.
  15. Having checked my pictures from 2007 and 2018, I learned: There are two Swifts in Madrid; a rebuild using some parts of the original in the Spanish AF museum and the flyer with FIO that is a recent purchase from the UK. Both museums are extremely cramped and the best photo opportunity was in 2007 when they took the Swift out with the intention of flying it. In 2018 the flying day was cancelled because of snow! I have bundled up my photos from 2007 and 2018 as well as some other Comper Swift files I had on disk. It can be downloaded from https://we.tl/t-kwxfsHtf8T One folder with subfolders. As usual, for personal use only, no publication without agreement.
  16. This picture is both in the Miranda book on British aircraft in the Spanish Civil War and the pages of the La Fundación Infante de Orleans. You can try writing to FIO, they are a friendly bunch and some of them even speak English https://fio.es/2019/03/27/comper-c-l-a-7-swift/ https://fio.es/2019/07/03/el-comper-cla-7-swift-de-la-fio/ From my visits there, I believe there was one Swift both in the Spanish AF museum (a non-flier) and the FIO hangar (capable of flying) - but it might be that I mix things up.
  17. The Fairey Battle should have been done by Airfix, both in 1/72 and 1/48 - an important British aircraft from early WW2 with the RAFM example available to LIDAR. I believe FRROM went for it because of its Belgian and French connection. MPM/Azur/FRROM are known for managing to get multiple versions out of the molds. My guesses are bomber releases with markings for RAF, Belgium, Greece and possibly Turkey. To be followed by advanced (gunnery?) trainers and target tugs in Canada and Australia. The Battle is known for the brave attempts at stemming the German Juggernaut in 1940 as well as training a lot of RAF and Allied aircrew in Canada and other part of the world. Three restored survivors can be found in major museums (Hendon, Brussels and Ottawa). My interest is mainly in the Canadian versions used to train Norwegian airmen in exile.
  18. Ar 199 appears in Luftwaffe photo albums from Norway, usually when bringing officers to and from units. And even if it was just a two or three seater, it could pick up downed pilots and other crew members in the Northern areas - preferring a cramped ride to walking for weeks through the wilderness or years in a Siberian POW camp. The other option would be using a larger Ar 196 for the pick-up flights during summer - when ice and snow covered the landscape Fi 156 Storchs would do the pick-ups. I haven`t heard of any progress with restoring the wreck that was brought out of Russia some years ago, it looked possible to bring back to static condition. I am really happy to see RS doing this one in plastic as I have been looking for the Master-X resin without success for a long time. A little known seaplane and typical of what is RS models bread and butter.
  19. To see all they offer with English text: http://lpmodels.eu/index.php?id_category=10&controller=category&id_lang=2&order=product.name.asc 1/48 scale on pages 1-3, 1/72 scale on pages 3-5
  20. I think this is a new tool by RS models and the first ever Arado Ar 199 kit in plastic. Previous releases by Master-X and possibly others were in resin. The aircraft was used by Luftwaffe in Norway and Finland as a courier and light transport, sometimes to pick up downed aircrew from lakes in the Northern wilderness - as seen on the artwork
  21. Not sure if decal windows will look good enough in 1/72, drilling and cutting out all the windows on an A330 will probably warrant making a tool to punch them out. Drawdecals charged me 15USD in shipping for a couple of sheets in 1/72 and 1/144 to Norway - so it`s not that bad for the rest of Europe. The price for the kit isn`t that scary, it depends on what shipping will cost - gonna be a large box.
