There were plain white boxes called Eduard (something)
Were these basically cheaper versions? No prices on these either
These are what Eduard call overtrees, they provide only the plastic sprues from the kits, no decals, instructions resin etc.

Very impressive, what materials did you use in it's construction?

Sad news, good luck for the future.

Go big then go for a ride in it I think! Magnificent and at least no one can spoil it by telling you it's the wrong shade of this or that.
Don't count on it, I once had someone freak out at a show because I had used the wrong colour yellow on an Aliens power loader.

This is such a great rendition. I am amazed that a gal in Iran got to wear a western dress.

Very sad news - Mr. Jan Polc passed away 17.09.2022

That's very sad news. I helped Jan on some of his projects with translation/proof reading of his books, magazine articles etc and meeting him once a year at the nationals for our annual beer swapping exercise (he was very fond of Newcastle Brown Ale), I'll miss him.

- The Spitfire 'twin tub' is an old chestnut. It has to sell worldwide, repeat, worldwide. Not just in UK where a few fortunate have flown in them but in USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, South Africa and everywhere else too. Instead why not a 2 Seat 8 in its striking all-yellow colour scheme? The AZ rendering is 'a bit of a challenge'. What might have been rumorued to have been seen at Airfix's HQ in another old chestnut. I recall a 24th Lysander which was surely the Matchbox one in a mistaken scale....
- Battle: known for the horrendous losses it suffered but not much else. Like everything else it has to sell.
- Don't think we'll see anything large: the new Spitfire lX will have drawn heavily on the budget.
- Possibly a 1/72 Dragon Rapide. World-wide usage, colour schemes to say nothing of it still giving joy rides to more than will ever fly in a Spitfire. Xtradecal would go crazy.
- Not much WWll is 'untooled' but plenty of scope for new tools. My favourites Corsair and Avenger, both with folding wings. And the supposed visit by Airfix to the FAA museum... No, I don't think it was for the Scimitar.
- Postwar: again 'retoolings' perhaps a new Sea Hawk to replace one of their earliest. Maybe a Venom/Sea Venom.
And whatever is coming they are working on it right now and researching follow-on subjects. Hampden will surely come, but not until restoration at Cosford is complete.
Heller/Airfix have already done the DH Rapide & Xtradecal have at least 2 72nd scale sheets out

Is there anybody out there?

Update time, with FREE added pictures!
I did some masking, painting and tidying up this morning. So here we go with the visuals...
First though, this isn't mine. It's just to show that circles are a Kreiger thing. And with that in mind, I used a few on the build.
Circles. I just used some tank wheel masks that I got cheap from big H.
And, what other colours was I going to use for the unit/Squadron badge? I do have a decal to go on there too.
It's an odd colour. More brown than green. But why can't a spaceship be a dull colour? This is far away from the Star Trek universe.
More circles on the left side. There are lots of decals to go on, detail painting and weathering to be done.
Thanks for looking in, your comments are always welcome. Cheers, Pete
