  1. The test fitting is looking good. The wings on mine seemed to fit okay right from the start for some reason, it definitely wasn't down to anything I had done! The rivet detail you have added looks very good, something I haven't worked up the courage to try yet.
  2. Oh yes Glynn, that looks very nice indeed. I think that you have got the demarcation between the colours just right, it can be tricky in any scale but to do it justice in 1/144 can't have been easy at all.
  3. Very nice work on the cockpit Mike, it looks great. As you say it will be interesting to see the two builds from the different manufacturers.
  4. Excellent news, you can never have too many KV-107's/CH-46's.
  5. That looks great Julian, the decals look excellent and don't show any of the camo through them at all.
  6. One of my favourite Matchbox kits, would love to build another one. Good luck Scott.
  7. So much for OOTB then! The detailing door has been opened. Its going to look fantastic when done though.
  8. Definitely very Skyraider shaped, though I have to disagree with you about it being ugly, brutish and powerful yes but not ugly.
  9. Really starting to take shape now, some very nice work going on here.
  10. I think that you just sneak under the 25% rule with this one Jes. The Mig-21 is always a popular choice and the early F version is in my opinion the best looking one. The Revell kit is very nice so shouldn't give you many issues during the build.
  11. A fantastic choice Jes, our first Crusader! Always a popular aircraft and often wearing quite colourful markings we couldn't really have a Vietnam GB without an F-8. The Academy kit looks very nice so I look forward to watching this one come together. Welcome to the GB.
  12. Its great to have an O-2 in the GB Greg, a great looking aircraft. I am looking to add one of these to the stash myself so I am very interested to see how this goes together when you are able to start your build.
  13. You have nothing to worry about on that score Pat I assure you!
  14. Nicely done, it certainly has that dusty look to it.
  15. Yeah I know that there is more to it, especially internally, I was just going on the general outwards appearance.
  16. An excellent joint on the fuselage halves Reini, very neat and no filler. I think that you will knock that nose ring into shape without much fuss.
  17. I like the weathering on the tank and weapons, an often overlooked area, the tank in particular is very effective.
  18. Good work John, nice to see the Zinc Chromate as when you weather back to it it will look really good.
  19. Excellent work Nigel, she really has come together very quickly. You're doing a great job of her, making it look easy!
  20. I would say that the actual seat (not the cushioning) would be black Pete, but am happy to be proved wrong.
  21. Great to see your PC-6 underway Pappy, and very nice work too. The extra details under the nose look good.
  22. A great choice Borisz! A Chinook is always a popular choice but a gunship one is even better! The armed Chinook program is a fascinating one and from what I have read they had a real impact whenever they turned up, not surprising considering how much ordnance they carried. I look forward to your build and welcome to the GB!
  23. Good to know Glynn, especially that the guns are still intact. There are some nice options on that AOA sheet, obviously you'll need some more AC-119's!
