Yesterday I managed to complete my first aircraft build for a while - a Hurricane taking off and it includes a motorised prop - it can be found here.

Craig in that aerofax book you have is there any way to tell if the 28p late model with the two outside wing pylons,as opposed to one either sise of the nacelle,and long radome has a canopy with a central frame down its length ,or without ,probably updates and retroft canopys as I've seen early 28ps without and with, can't really find much on the web to finally put this to bed,,a bit anal i know sorry,I'm leaning towards the central frame at the minute, cheers

Hi Glynn,
Sorry for the late reply. I have had a good look through all of my Soviet references (I have quite a few!) and can say that the late model Yak-28P's do indeed seem to have the frame running lengthways, I really hope this is the right answer as I love your build and it has made my mind up over getting one of these beasts, especially if I can find more pics of camo ones!

I just managed to strip skin from the palm side of both thumbs while trying to open a jar of Gunze acrylic. Note to self: Clean the gunge from the threads before closing the jar next time.

I have lost my two dear little dogs, the first passed early this month and now my second has left me today. I'm so lost and alone without my little mates, I miss you both so much. I'm taking a break from aeroplanes and everything for a while. Be back when ever.
