  1. I just ordered 1 from my3d.. I'm thinking of adding it to the P-1101 I'll be working on.
  2. Just out of curiosity, does it have any guns ? I don't see anything that would show them... Even in the review article.
  3. for those of you in Britain and may be interested in the Zeppelins ...This is what is being presented.. No i have nothing to do with this... just passing info to people that are interested in Zeps.. Zeppelins Over Britain Favorites · 31m · I have a busy week coming up next week. On Monday (8th April) I will be giving a talk in Dorking (Surrey) about Operation Türkenkreuz, the German bomber campaign against London in 1917-1918, then on Friday (12th April) I will be in Lewes (East Sussex) telling the story of the British air raids made in autumn 1914 on Zeppelin bases in Germany. All are welcome - small fee. Details for Dorking https://dlhg.org.uk/current-programme/ and for Lewes https://www.westernfrontassociation.com/.../unite.../sussex/
  4. I'm thinking of trying to make a mould and casting it in clear resin, we'll see when i get to that point.
  5. For those of you that have a ton of money.. this guy is selling his 1/72 scale Zeppelin..
  6. Ok the next things is the cannons / guns.. the A/C had 1 37mm and 2 23mm cannons on it.. which is typical of the soviet a/c of that time.. the MiG-9, and the MiG-15's had them as well. the kit guns are very well done, more then enough detail to them, and they give you 3 barrels which have a opening in the front, no need to drill them out. {painting them should be fairly easy)..
  7. To continue.. Ok.. I think this is the weakest part of this kit, the canopy. I'm not sure how they would change this, other then to make a vacuum canopy. Their canopy is cloudy.. hazy.. but the framework is very good. Even the small circular window on the canopy is there. They also give you 2 "frames" that go on the bottom of the canopy. This makes painting much easier. but i will need to figure out how to make the canopy "clearer"..
  8. Martian, the authors name is Ian Castle, he does meetings where he discusses the history of these ships. He is in Britain, so you folks can actually see him. (he also has a Facebook page, if anyone is interested.)
  9. If anyone is interested, here is a good book for you Zep peeps..
  10. I'm the same way, even though the plane is closed up, and you can't see the engine. I know it is done..
  11. I wonder if with the jet engine it was more maneuverable.. with the rockets it was a one shot straight in flight.
