I had a look but I have also found these on ebay this evening:

I'm buying some others of their decals I need anyway (Williams FW07 replacements) so saving on the postage otherwise it would be another indecals order
I would be very interested in your feedback of the decals from this supplier, I have been considering a sheet of their FW07 decals as I too have one in need of 'rescue'!

I wish that someone produced a readily available Shadow DN7 in 1/20 scale.
Do you not fancy the new Iritani DN7?
I have bought model car kits from Brazil recently with no problems.
PS Not saying I too am a Lotus fan, but my list of 1/20 Lotus kits in the stash is up to 17......... I think I may have over egged it just a bit?
Thats including the worlds worst Lotus kit - the Garage Unlimited 102 Lamborghini - the last all yellow Lotus.

Hi Chris,
You may struggle to get the engine in to the assembled cowl, as its bigger than the opening at either end. I think there is a note in the instructions that says the cowl has to be glued around the engine?
Will look forward to the scratch cockpit!

Nice choice.
When I built one, I found it impossible to stretch the body wide enough to go over the chassis without fear of cracking it, so I cut one door sill off along the panel line to get the body over the chassis.

Postie brought a DH Goblin jet engine, and a rocket motor, and no wings!
1:1?
I always wanted a Clerget or Bently BR1 for the corner of the living room................

Great job!
The overhead views certainly show up the size difference! Would it be rude to call it a fat boy Auster?!
I still have to try automotive filler on a model, although used plenty on 1:1 cars.......

Sadly no, and believe me I have looked!
There is the Aerotech 1/32 kit, so it may be worth asking John Simonds of Marsh Models (Aerotech) if he has any more info?
The other person you could approach is Ralph Pegram whos recent book 'Schneider Trophy Seaplanes and Flying Boats' has mention of the S65 but no more pictures than you see on Google.
You could also try contacting The Italian Air Force Museum (Museo Storico dell' Aeronautica Militare Italiana) at Vigna di Valle, Rome to ask if they have any more information? They have quite a few of the Italian Schneider planes on display.
If you do find anything please let me know!!!

I don't want to derail your thread too much, but what sparked your interest in making a model of the Bloody Mary?
Its great subject and I am really pleased you are doing it!

Nice, I shall look forward to your progress with this.
There is a project underway to reproduce a full size exact replica, their website has a bunch of great period photos and they have a few youtube videos discussing the project.

One of the most amusing bylines by a poster on retrorides is:-
When I die, I hope my wife does not sell my stuff for what I told her it cost me to buy!!!!!
So I guess you did not buy the Miles M14a Magister for a tenner?
Also sold was an LDM Mew Gull for £12.50 and a Pitts for £5!!

Matt, How did I miss this!!!!!!!

Brilliant, thanks for the comprehensive reply!
I have not decided which race to model yet, so will have to tackle that when I get to it.
