Superb job as usual Jörgen. The low angle walk around shows what a brutal and purposeful looking car it is. The in car video was interesting, you can clearly see that the driving style has to be adapted to suit the power delivery due to the CVT like throttle response! Malc.

Looks great, wotchoo gonna do for decals? I just had a look through my spares box and only have 3 bladers! I am sure someone here could donate a Tiggie prop to you?! Malc. -
Oh boy, am I so looking forward to this! Thanks Jörgen, the kit parts look great. (Edit - Although I have now read through your comments!) Helpful comment (not) No1 in a series.............. Because the engine and trans are so unique, I would be tempted to copy and display them alongside the completed car. M.

Took out a 20 year endowment mortgage in 1991. Oh, wait.......... you mean modelling? Dropping wet painted parts seems to be a recurring theme. M.

Avro Manchester Bomber Instrument Panel 1:1
Malc2 replied to alzictorini's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Hi Al, These panels you are creating look fantastic! There was a guy on a German model forum a few years ago who was making an Me163 panel using pretty much the same techniques. What do you mean when you say 'I used a .4mm novel' ? Does this refer to the font size? Malc. -
Its not the Howmet, but I'm in! Malc.

Great to see another of yours being built. If you make the plan on your computer screen the correct size, then trace over it on tracing or thin white paper - I have done this a few times rather than print stuff out! Then offer up the cut out plastic part back to the screen to correct any errors that may have crept in. Malc. -
Hi Mike, This is a bit of an off the wall suggestion, but cheap bath side panels are high impact styrene sheet, the one I have is 1.5mm thick and is great for my modelling. The cheap ones can be found in UK DIY stores (E.G. Homebase/B&Q etc) and are around £25/£30 for a 1.7m x 0.5m panel. You may get lucky and get a damaged one at a rock bottom price! You can find flat panels but most have a slight curve or swage for stiffness, but you may be able to work round this? Malc.

Schneider trophy aircraft painting (brass/copper wings)
Malc2 replied to SprueMan's topic in Classic - up to 1968
IMHO the Pegram book is one of the best Schneider books around. New research. New 3 view drawings of all aircraft correcting previous mistakes All Schneider aircraft included, even ones not raced. Thoroughly recommended. Malc. -

That looks 100% better. Any chance you could post a close up pic of the 200 an 120 mesh together? Could you post a link to the mesh on Amazon? Cheers, Malc. -

That looks fantastic, what is it about small vans with signwriting that is so appealing? Do you know if the original was sign painted or used coloured vinyl stickers? Malc.
