  1. So it’s actually the pre- sale Danish scheme with Argentine markings?
  2. This is great news! Hopefully there will be a decal option for a Romanian machine with roundels.
  3. Thank you! I can usually find used Heller kits for about 10$ on ebay, but the shipping is usually twice as expensive as the kit. I was hoping, seeing old Heller kits being re-released, that the He 112 might be among them so that I can buy it relatively cheap locally or at least together with other modelling stuff from the big stores in Poland, the Czech Republic etc. I think in 1/72 it’s still the better kit available for this aircraft.
  4. Where is it available though? I’ve only seen it occasionally on ebay.
  5. Is the Heller 1/72 Heinkel He-112 one of those molds that were sold to other companies? I was hoping it would be released again, but I see it was also offered by Encore and I think Modelex.
  6. It looks great (and I’m very impressed by the pilot! 😀)! What paints did you use for the camo scheme?
  7. Great work and thank you for posting this! I was under the impression that the model needs quite alot of extra panel lines to be scribed as they are missing from the plastic. Or at least that was my first impression by looking at photos of the Aeropoxy scribing template. Did you do those? Are they actually necessary?
  8. The main things missing from the Dutch version in the previous iterations of this kit were the counterweights for the horizontal stabilizers, that small tear shaped bump right behind the engine cowling and the proper Hamilton (I think) propeller. All of these are hard to ignore if you want a correct-ish Dutch Fokker. On the other hand, there are good resin aftermarkets for the propeller (the Blenheim used the same thing) and I could overlook the counterweights, but please add the small bump in the new release!
  9. Thank you! That sounds encouraging. It’s a very beautiful aircraft/boat and the kit’s box seems well packed with various stuff but it’s also somewhat expensive so if the fit was poor or it would have needed complicated modifications I would have decided to skip it. Looking forward to see yours finished!
  10. Great work! How is the Dora Wings S.55 kit to build?
  11. That’s a very good looking model! Are the camo spots painted by hand?
  12. Great result! I love your choice of subjects! This is an aircraft I never seriously considered for a model, but I do now.
  13. Great looking model and a very attractive camo scheme! How did you make those green contours? Brush or some sort of marker?
  14. Awesome! Thank you very much! Any estimate (in the public domain 😀) for the IAR 81C release? I’m assuming it won’t be shipped at the same time as the first box with the IAR 80.
  15. I was hoping to see more updates on this given that there are only about two months to its estimated release.
  16. I have no experience with building armour, but this looks great and very convincing. Apart from the Yugoslav decal is it OOB? Also, what varnish did you use? It has a nice subtle sheen.
  17. Apparently, IBG’s announcement of the 1/72 I.A.R. 80 series took the pressure off for me. I no longer feel compelled to follow guessing threads until they have a definitive title, but have fun, everyone and all my best to Arma Hobby too! 😀
  18. I’m very glad to see all the 3d printed accessories. On the other hand I now realize the AASM body used by the navy (hence Rafale M) is the CBEMS and not the Mk.82, which renders my L’Arsenal resin AASMs obsolete. Good thing I bought plenty of them. 🙄 To top it off, the existing decal by Syhart for the stencils on Rafale armaments - which I also have - only covers the Mk.82 AASM I see. I suppose I could take the relevant body stencils from a GBU-12 (CBEMS) though.
  19. I have to commend everyone for so seriously speculating on this - and I’m betting on the Ju-52. Giving the title and rather vague premise I would have thought we’d already have at least one photoshop image of the Airfix researchers scanning something funny in Norway by now.
  20. I couldn’t be sure based on that render and was surprised someone would offer the early type canopy. It’s gonna be a great first box for this series!
  21. Wow - again! Looks to be one of the most complex IBG models so far. I wonder if that render should be interpreted as two canopy types being available. On a related note, MMP has just announced that Radu Brinzan’s book on the I.A.R. 80 (Vanator - Romanian Hunter) is available again. It does cost 60 GBP though (and that is announced as a promotion - reduced from 70). https://www.wydawnictwostratus.pl/en/product/vanator-romanian-hunter?fbclid=IwAR2zJew9kBRn-edt_FB0ic2E49jH3rONAlfymq1V_wvPbSgbd1n_2ZMdxWk
  22. Wow! Overwhelming news! IBG would have been my top bet and wish for this subject. Very happy!
  23. Thank you! Also, I forgot to ask: did you have to use any nose weight for this? Revell’s instructions do not mention it as far as I know.
  24. Stunning result! You’ve made my day! Are the strengthening plates scribed? Also, how was the CMK interior set? Do you recommend it?
