  6. I would stay away from Alumilite resin. I don't like it as it cures way too fast. Cheers, -Doug
  7. I think both Two Mikes and SHM are working on B-1 stuff. You will have to ask them to be sure though. Cheers, -Doug
  8. Thanks Nick, It's probably just me then Carry on the good work! Cheers, -Doug
  9. Hey Nick, Very nice work so far! I have been working on mine on and off for three yeras now , and have pulled it out again with the hopes of finally beating it If you don't mind, I have a quick question for you. Did you have any trouble getting the clear parts on your turrets to fit? I am working on the Ic as well, and my clear parts seem to be too small to fit on the turret bases. Did you encounter this problem as well, or is it just me? I finally decided to glue the fuselage halves together, then I hacked off the turret enclosures, and will deal with them later. But, I was just curious.. Cheers, -Doug
  10. Wow! Marcus, you are doing a great job! I can't wait to see how this one turns out. I am in awe Cheers, -Doug
  11. Hey Paul, Yea me too, I tried to use the kit panel, I even drilled out the gauges, but it was just too thick.... In the end I gave up and bought the Eduard one myself. I ordered it last week, and hopefully it will come this week It sure does look nice -Doug
  12. Looks good so far Paul! I can't seem to finish the interior on mine. Every time I think I'm done, I find another dodad to scratch build......maybe one of these days.... -Doug
  13. Ian, This is what I do for anti-slip areas. I paint everything first, then mask off the area. I then liberally apply Mr. Surfacer 500 and stiple with a brush. Once that is dry, paint it the correct color and your done! I hope that helps. Your P-40 is coming along very well. I look forward to seeing the finished product. -Doug
  14. Hey Paul, One thing I have found while working on my Osprey is that you have to be careful when you put tape on it, as the plastic seems to be very fragile. In a few spots, I have put tape down, and when I pulled it up, little pieces of plastic came with it....Just thought it might be of some help. -Doug
