  1. I was refering to the Super Frelon. Sorry guys, and no, Mach 2 never did an OV-1.
  2. Why no wing stations for these great looking Drones? I know, I know, "you want egg in your beer, too?" These look really great. Now if I didn't have three Italeri DC-130's... Cheers!
  3. As great as the Albacore is I'm just as jazzed by the A-1E fuselage just below it!!!
  4. Could this be the molds for the VC-10 that were announced by RAM Models? Would be great.
  5. This is a long awaited for kit. Couldn't get the vac and the resin one looks off so I'm happy. Looking forward to it. It'll fit in nicely to my "Special Use" aircraft. Cheers!
  6. Sure wish somebody would do this in 1/72. I know that Lift Here did but try and find one for any kind of reasonable price, if at all. Such a cool looking airplane. It looks like it could be a cousin of the Jaguar. Cheers!!!
  7. I'm sure both will build into really nice Mirage's but the difference in price will be the question. Special Hobby's series will likely be in the $20 range while I'll bet the Modelsvit will be in the $30 range. Whoever gets theirs to market first will win the gold. Ya pays your money ya takes your choice.
  8. How about a 1/72 Sea Vixen, Sea Fury or Javalin based on their 1/48th kits? I wouldn't mind a Scimitar or Firebrand as well - in Man Scale (72nd) or Wimp Scale (48th)! Not to mention a new tool Vulcan in 1/72nd! I don't hold my breath for any of them but it would be nice.
  9. Helicopters don't sell?! Tell that to Airfix, Revell, Hasegawa, Italeri, Special Hobby, etc. etc.... Sorry but I don't by it but I do BUY them.
  10. My list one for Mr. Airfix... 1/72 Vulcan (NEW TOOL) with options for variants Sea Vixen FAW.2 Javelin series Sea Venom series Hornet/Sea Hornet series Gannet series Wyvern Defender AL.2 Trilander Hunter series Wasp series MiG-19 series HH-43 this has been needed for WWWAAAYYY to long!!! HH-3 series - a real Jolly Green not the older (but still serviceable Aurora/Revell kits) HH-52 (as long as we're dreaming) B-47E/RB-47H options 1/48 Reissue the Javelin Hunter two seater Wasp series Wyvern Whirlwind series HH-3 series (I know I'm dreaming but it would be nice) Any of the above would be really nice.
  11. This is way cool and badly needed. Try and find a Buc S.2 in the red box. I looked on ebay and they have "0". I'm sure with all the info that they gleaned from the 1/48th kit as well as LIDAR etc. it will be the ultimate 72nd Buc. Can hardly wait.
  12. Hurray and 3 cheers for this one. I suggested this a couple of years ago and I guess enough other suggested it as well. This will be a real winner for Airfix as it will be reasonable enough to buy them in bulk. How many cool color schemes are there for the MiG-17...there are hundreds!!!
  13. Deal me 3 Buccaneer's and 5 MiG-17's face up please. The Spit and Tiger Moth are nice but bringing back the Sea Vixen is great. I never got one the first time around so I'm really looking forward to it. Now if they'll only reissue the Jav. And, please Mr. Airfix shrink these both down to 1/72 PLEEEESE!
  14. Sorry I was tardy to the party on this one. but I've been preparing to move so haven't had a lot of time for the internet. Super news!
  15. Goldfinger! Try "The Buckman Company" from "The Hell-fighters"
  16. Hope they don't upgrade the kit. I know it needs it, but at what cost? If it increases the kit price by 1/3rd or 1/2 then it's not worth the additional parts. Lots of aftermarket for the Connie so why drive the price up? Don't want to start a firestorm, jut my 2 cents. Cheers Lads.
  17. A new IA-58 in 48th. Pinch me now I must be dreaming! I have loved the Pucara for years and have wanted a good kit of one. Now we get a new one in 48th and Special Hobby is doing or redoing theirs in 72nd! 2018 is starting off great!
