  1. Sad to hear about the C-140. Such a great looking aircraft. Ah well... Amodel, Modelsvit, Special Hobby, anyone, anyone, Bueller...Bueller...
  2. Thanks for doing all that. You're the reason we're getting a kit. It never fails. When someone comes close to killing themselves on a build and finishes it, that's when a company announces a new from the ground up injection molded kit!!! I've seen this time and time again. Thanks for all your hard won work on this. You've made the modeling supreme sacrifice! Cheers! FTOSOTP
  3. Can hardly wait. Too cool for words!!! Now if they'll do a C-140 my collection of military biz-jets I've always wanted will be complete! I've only wanted this for 25 years. Just super! Rock on Sword!!!
  4. Wasn't the tail on the Airfix Sea Harrier too short as well. It seemed to me I read that somewhere. I'd like to have an FRS.1 but for now I'll stick with my Hasegawa kits. I think I've got 8 of them.
  5. Only if they start with an accurate "K" model. I think they'd sell a bunch of those. Revell AG started to modify their D into a K. If you've never looked at the inside of the fuselage haves you can see the clear beginnings of work on the molds to do a K but I guess Revell found out what an extensive mod it would be and shelved the idea. Cheers!
  6. AMT did a B-26 in 48th back in the day. Don't know what happened to the molds but haven't seen one in forever. I had one and it was nicely detailed with a well done interior, etc. If you can find one check it out. Cheers!
  7. Thanks Wojtek. I missed that one. Love your 'B' so I'm sure the 'D' will be a great kit.
  8. Your all wrong. It's going to be a P-51D to follow their P-51B. But I'm never right so it's probably an A6M...or a Spitfire, or...an airplane!!! All I can say is it will be a cracker, if their P-51B is the bellwether of their current 72nd kits!!!
  9. Thanks for the LINK to the Da Nang site. What a great resource. I plan on sharing this one. Cheers! Doug
  10. To the Country of Ukraine, all her population in general - keep your heads down, be safe and please try to keep us informed, if you can. Our prayers are with you all. God bless.
  11. Cool... I had a "Keep Calm and Build Airfix" sign hanging in my shop. Looking forward to having one again to get back to building. I hope some of these make it across the pond. Cheers!!!
  12. I'd make a bet that the Anson Mk.1 is the Airfix kit as a repop with Brass and Resin. Airfix has shared molds before so this could be possible. Example the 72nd FMA IA 58 Pucara minus all the brass and resin. I could be wrong - I was once on Tuesday April 1st, but who knows...
  13. Not sure how this happened. It was about the TA-4J ex-Fujimi in 1/72. Sorry bout that.
  14. I'm looking forward to this one, but what happened to the AMP HH-43F!? I guess they decided on a more universally used aircraft kit before the '43'. Bummer...
  15. Missed the PUR parts in the parts layout. I'm sure of the exhaust but the other part I agree is the fan face of the engine. Looking forward to this one as I only have 1 TA-4J kit and I'd like at least 4 more depending on the price. Got some really great Aggressor decals!
  16. I'd guess the extended Anti I/R fitting for the exhaust is included since they've gone to the extent of showing it in the decal instructions - but what do I know!?
  17. Thanks for all the input on the Orpheus recce pod. I Knew about the F-104G kit having one but I didn't realize the dramatic difference in the variants of the Pod. Very interesting.
  18. Now if they'll include an Orpheus recce pod in the stores...please!
  19. My guess is this is the SMER kit with new markings and better decals. Should be interesting to see what actually is in the box. The SMER kit was a nice little kit. Not sure about dimensions etc. but it looks like a MiG-17 when built. If this really is a new kit then Yahoo!!! Waiting to see...
  20. Should be a T-51A if in fact it is a C-150 in Air Force markings which I'm guessing it will be. Cheers to KP. My only question is are they new molds or more re-pops of other manufacturers molds. Don't get me wrong, the old 150 and 172 by ARII were really good kits so was there 337 and Aero Subaru. They've been gone a long time and need re-popped. If these are "NEW" molds that's great too. Just will be interesting to see. Cheers!
  21. Now that we know it's real can we start a campaign to get ICM to consider 48th and 72nd. 35th will be impressive but huge. I had the opportunity to see the NVNG in action and it'd a fantastic machine. It will be really interesting to see what this looks like in the flesh?! Should be a very good model based on ICM's recent releases. Cheers
  22. You guys got me thinking. More or less hasn't every major manufacturer done or is doing at least one kit of a P-51 in at least one or various marks in the one true scale - or as the guys over here in the states call it "MAN SCALE". Cheers! FTOSOTP Let the firestorm begin.
