  1. Good to know! Although from photos it appears that on the Yak 9 the door is open most of the time on the ground. I still would like to know how it functioned.
  2. Wow! Great Idea!Who knew a Hobbycraft kit could improve.....well anything? That has to be the best looking S-199 I've seen!
  3. I wonder if they tour just to keep that thing in the air! Can't be cheap! But then again, if I had the money I'd have a surplus A-10 for weekend visit's to family.
  4. I started the same kit with the same detail bits. Before you start take a look at the leading edge of the wing when assembled. The leading edge is far too rounded and needs some sharpening to look right. Now , with your talent you could probably paint your way around this and it will still look stunning but I thought you might like to know. Good luck, I will be watching with much interest!
  5. Sorry, I wasn't very clear, I was referring to the overall width of the fuselage just aft of the wing.
  6. Nice Build! Did you paint the white stripe or is that a decal? I ask because it looks great and white decals usually do not look that good over red. How about a group photo of all your Hawks?
  7. Just to show how damaging model building can be to my brain.... I only build military kits for some reason and lately I've been drooling over Kinetic's Su-33 in 1/48 with all of it's foldy up bits. The first thing that popped into my glue pickled brain when I saw you rather nice build was....."I wonder why he didn't fold the wings?" I saw the bump in the wing mid span and that's what I thought!
  8. Wait, did I read that right? You brush painted that?!........that's it, I can't take it anymore......I couldn't get a silver paint job to turn out that nice if I tried! It's too much to take!! Er... uh.... Seriously nice work!
  9. Wow,nice paint work! Very attractive build!
  10. Nice! I like the silver finish! Together they make a most interesting display. I like them!
  11. Pretty! I think you are right the Mustang does look good in a modern camo scheme, and a fun build is the best kind in my opinion. Well done! disclaimer: My opinion has been used with permission from the Mrs.
  12. good looking build! I like the weathering and paint work. What was the bulge in the fuselage for? I know nothing about the Buccaneer.
  13. I would be thrilled with that if it were on my shelf! Looks great!
  14. Stunning photos!! Thanks for sharing!
  15. That,Sir,is superb work! Hard to believe they are 1/72! :thumbsup2:
  16. Nice photos! I have never seen wing tanks on an avenger before! Of course I haven't been looking very hard either. Do you have any more shots of the Hind? That looks to be an attractive paint scheme on that one.
  17. Agreed, nice shots! ! Question, on the 9th photo down on the training missle. Those are strange looking fins! I have never seen that before. Is that a Homegrown version of a sidewinder?
  18. Very nice work ! I like the more common folk jobs rather than the flashy paint schemes on jet aircraft. Would it be possible to get a couple of pictures outdoors in more natural light? I would like to see the colors on your splendid paint job better.
  19. Another excellent build! I like the scheme. Did you paint the green on the nose or was it decal? Looks nice either way!
  20. 1/72? Really? That looks stunning! Your paintwork is very nice and it's overall appeal is awe inspiring!
  21. That looks great! How did you achieve the sealant on the canopy? it looks perfect!
  22. Top notch and beautiful build! Very well done!
