  1. Such precision. It's turning out to be a striking looking model.
  2. Some serious crafting gone on here. Can't believe how good the propeller turned out considering what you started with. Nice little model.
  3. Well, that turned out very well indeed. Reminds me of what might happen if you kiss a frog.
  4. Great colour scheme. That and all the detailing makes the model eye catching. Good work.
  5. This thread just keeps floating to the top, so I'm joining in. That's one well-crafted grunge look you've achieved there. A highlight is the lowlights, the skillfully blended greens. Good job. If only you hadn't held back on the photo documentation 🤓
  6. Seriously good result. Well done. There's nothing like a masking challenge (in these masking times %~)). Short-cut to the psychiatrist's couch in my case.
  7. Great mud! No, seriously though... that's one mucky model. Well done. Donning my OH&S hat, love the hearing protection in Pic#3. If they survived, I bet all three gents have hearing issues now. What?
  8. Very high standard of modelling achieved. I do like the folded-wing pose. Of many highlights: I love the gold tint you've achieved with the canopies; the level of detailing is impressive; the overall greys are finely blended.
  9. One of the numerous, largely forgotten, unglamorous workhorses of the fleet. But doesn't she ooze character? Well modelled. A jolly good rigging makes all the difference.
  10. That's a grand looking ship model. A bit of rigging would make it really sparkle, I reckon.
  11. Smart looking warship model. Has the ladder come adrift on B turret? Otherwise, some poor gunner is in for a shocking last step.
  12. Very smart looking ship model. Brush painted? The real deal. Nice touch with the Loire 130 flying boat.
  13. Modelling of the highest quality. Here are a few highlights: rear fuselage structure; rigging; weathering; overall finish; attention to detail. Simply have to award you the Golden Kookaburra Stamp for one of the better models I've seen on the web and the strong appeal of an infrequently modelled type; the Vickers Vimy. That ventral gun position is a real sneaky one.
  14. That's a terrific old Chevy, loaded up and ready to go. Great paint, weathering and detailing. @Carius I took the liberty of finding your old build log and posting the link here. Let me know if you want it taken off. Chevrolet 30CWT LRDG - full assembly until the end by Carius
  15. Good job. Your chipping work is very good and the restrained weathering works well.
  16. Nice quickie! Model's good, too. 🤓 Aldi's bargain bin you say? Half your luck. Nearest thing to a scale model I've seen in our Aldi stores was a Märklin train set half a decade ago.
  17. That's turned out really well. You've managed to downplay what appear to be crevasse-scale panel lines on the fuselage. And are those roundel colours faded by the North African sun? Nice touch.
  18. Love a brushed model. Proper crafting, that is. Good work. Interesting project that's going to net you a great looking collection.
  19. Great project! By the time you finish, you'll have more Hurricanes than the North Atlantic. All hand painted, too. Respect!
  20. Good Spitty nicely finished. Photo from ground level with starter cart very evocative. The fuselage roundel is a welcome variation, though it does look odd, doesn't it? Did the wing decals give you a bit of grief?
  21. That's an impressive model. The base is a great idea that conveys the feeling of speed very well from some camera angles. Panel lines and rivets are perhaps just a tad prominent for my eye.
