  1. Nicely presented model of speculative AAA system.
  2. Very interesting modelling. Like the way they are mounted. Nice collection building; almost enough for a big raid 🤓 You may already have a copy. If not, The Zeppelin in Combat: a History of the German Naval Airship Division by Douglas Robinson (revised edition 2004) is considered the standard reference for Kaiserliche Marine Zeppelins and is a comprehensive if rather dry read. The revised edition has lots more terrific photos than the 1997 original. I had to import my copy from Germany almost 20 years ago and it was pricey back then, as it is now, but there are 2nd hand bargains to be found.
  3. Superb! One of my favourite types; seaplane + trimotore + Italian = my kinda crate. Lovely presentation on its watery base. Little wonder it's a prize winner. Pity about the distracting photobucket watermark over the pics. I closed my account with them when they started this malarkey.
  4. It's a ripping yarn. Some particularly interesting notes on the development of aircraft camouflage colours for the South Atlantic. It's as quirky a process as you could imagine, in a way that the British seem to excel. It involves the use of plastic kits; 1:24 scale Harriers by Airfix if I recall. Imagine modelling skills akin to our own being applied by white-coated boffins on an urgent, hush-hush MoD project in time of war! Well, it happened.
  5. Excellent! Currently reading Harrier 809 Britain's Legendary Jump Jet and the Untold Story of the Falklands War. Rowland White, 2020.
  6. You've done a good job wrestling this difficult kit into a most interesting example of the Boston.
  7. Neat! Good to see these less common types from the 50s presented on this forum.
