  1. Agreed! Airfix will produce what sells, not what was specifically in British military service although it does help. I personally would buy 2 to 3 T-Birds!
  2. I would have said the same the other day but having seen a review on the latest Buccaneer kit, the panel lines seem to be far more crisp than the latest rendition of their 1/72 Phantom FG.1/FGR.2 (Prefer the Fujimi kit)
  3. Looking good! Where did you manage to pick this up as I might get one?
  4. As always, a great show but next year I might put on a vest and shorts to combat the heat.
  5. I see the F-35 is sat on top of Buccaneer plans..
  6. It might be the angle of the dangle, but the flaps look devoid of decent detail...
  7. Going on the theory it's a 1/350th scale Bucc, it could well be an early CAD model that later transpired to be this: https://www.shapeways.com/product/344ME8468/1-350-scale-blackburn-buccaneer-aircraft-model-x-3
  8. I agree, it doesn't look 'right' but I can't put my finger on it..
  9. Looking above, it would seem Aeromodel Models produce these (Picture showing splitter plates/green background)
  10. It's not too bad considering the age of the kit but I would look at including some resin parts to enhance the kit. The air intakes for example aren't great and the nose profile is incorrect.
  11. I haven't seen that... Do you have a link because I can't find it?
  12. Am I the only one that thinks the picture is actually of the Airfix model, nothing more, nothing less? Maybe Trumpeter are just testing the water?
  13. I was getting excited there....... It does state 'expected 2017' so with that and with no verbal updates from HK Models, I still think we might be waiting a while yet. https://www.aviationmegastore.com/mcdonnel-douglas-phantom-fg1-expected-2017-01e11-hong-kong-models-hk11-aircraft-scale-modelling/product/?action=prodinfo&art=136442
  14. I thought it would be good to post than not at all as this is currently the only photo I have came across on the new Hunter. It looks to be a very rough 3D printed model but it was more of the fact of how it looks to go together that is of interest. I have no qualms as to the quality of the final kit will be over this first incarnation.
